Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Manami Higa: "Kanon" movie news....

Sigh.... there were so many reasons why Manami came oh so close to being my #1, actually would love it if she made another run at the top spot.... sigh again...

Been over two years since Manami has appeared in a film though she's definitely known more for her dramas. Can't recall if I ever did any posts for it but to me her best drama has been "Majo Saiban" which aired in 2009, that series is so highly recommended.
"Kanon" is her next film which is coming out on October 1st, let's hope we see more of her these next few weeks promoting it. Manami has done a few interviews for it but there weren't enough pics for them to bother posting. Here are some from the film's site, also here's the address for it and you can view the trailer there: kanon-movie.com

Think it's mainly a 'woman's film' as it's about three sisters who live apart from each other but reunite at their grandmother's funeral, trailer for it looked okay though. On September 14th the first screening was held for the movie, most of the main cast was there including Nozomi. Haven't done a post for her in quite a long time so expect an overdue one for her soon.
Manami is really looking so super-duper these days, then again can't think of a time she hasn't. Actually she's looking better than ever as these pics prove along with the ones at the top of the post. Pics here are from the screening and after them is a video of the event.
