Thought there was a video of the press conference for this drama but couldn't find it, perhaps there never was one. So let's get right to this episode which was another enjoyable show, one of the highlights has been the way Kanako drifts off into her own world as you can see in that above screenshot. Last episode ended off with Saku's autograph event which was a big success but at it he had sprained his left wrist which meant that he can't write that well, he's the type of writer who still uses pen and paper.
Kanako dropped in to see how Saku was faring with his writing as the deadline for the next chapter is tomorrow. Let's just say that she found Saku not faring well in the least as she found him writhing in pain rolling around on the floor. His wrist is even worse now as he attempted to keep writing, Saku also hasn't eaten a bite all day long. Kakano was at a loss on what to do when luckily to the rescue Mitsuki appeared to save the day and ordered Saku to go to bed immediately.
That he did and it set up a nice long scene between Kanako and Mitsuki, Rika actually looks more stunning on screen than she does in magazines. Mitsuki is an editor for Sekibun Publishing, it still wasn't revealed what the company does for Saku. Mistsuki did tell Kanako a bit about her past, the main point being that she had first met Saku at college and had remained friends since then.

Mitsuki too has been a bit disappointed in Saku's novels as he has such a great talent yet his stories have become so bland. Kanako's fave book by Saku was his debut "The Moment of the Spring Chill" which actually wasn't a true book but was published in a magazine for the best newcomers. It was a romantic story and Saku hasn't written in that genre since the debut which could be why his quality of writing has slipped so badly.
Mitsuki explained to Kanako that Saku was in love when he wrote the story, in order for him to write another romance novel he needs to be in love which he hasn't been in for many years. That chat with Mitsuki really changed Kanako's perception of her, originally she had thought that Mitsuki was a woman who who have sex with anyone and may not have been that bright. Those thoughts were way off base as though Mitsuki may be such a striking woman she's also a very talented editor and Kanako even starts to look up to her a bit.
Saku arose from his slumber which was when Mitsuki had to take her leave. The problem is now what to do for tomorrow's deadline as Saku's wrist is in such pain he can't do any writing. Kanako comes up with the bright idea that she'll be his hands, he can narrate his story to her and Kanako will type it on her laptop which is the only option Saku has left.

Saku doesn't narrate his true novel though as he begins saying some steamy lines as he knows sex makes Kanako very uncomfortable and his words do. Once again Kanako drifts off into her own world and starts imagining what it would be like to be with a man, the man in her fantasy happens to be Saku! Kanako needs a break after hearing Saku's joke narrative so the pair end up eating dinner together which is where Kanako finally started to reveal her secrets to Saku.
Those secrets being she's a 26 year old virgin whose first love was a character in a book and to this day books have remained her only love. She expected Saku to laugh at her for being such an odd female but on the contrary her life story made him even more intrigued about Kanako, deep down the pair are starting to have feelings for each other though neither will admit it yet. Also having strong feelings for Kanako is her work mate Mochizuki who is beginning to feel a bit jealous of Saku. He had a chat about his situation with his best mate at work but as of now still doesn't have the courage to tell Kanako how he really feels about her.
The final scene had Kanako a bit under the weather, that actually happened when she accidentally saw Saku in the buff, at least we had that impression. Or actually it could have been when Kanako had to give him a bath because of his injured wrist though she made him wear a blindfold. Lying on a futon she confessed even more of her embarrassing secrets to Saku though those secrets made him even more interested in Kanako, on that note we've hit the end of the fourth episode.

As I mentioned in the first recap still think that Aoi looks so much like Nanase Nishino in this series which is a very good thing. Have hit the end of this short marathon of four recaps and so far am enjoying this drama immensely. The drama was eight episodes long and will have the final four shows in about a week or so. First off though will be the recaps for episode's five through eight of the Korean series "The Ghost Detective" which also has been a superb show and will have those posts in about 2-3 days.
