Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

C-ute: The 'C-ute Singles series'- #27 "The Middle Management"

Gulp, how does one respond to a request like that!?!?

Two weeks ago was talking about starting up a series like this highlighting C-ute's singles, that day has finally arrived. Their 29th single is coming out in about two weeks and sure there will be a few posts on the song coming up. Actually think the PV is on YT, have the video but got it somewhere else and if it is there will be posting it very soon.
The group's 28th single "Arigatou Mugen no Yell" already has a post so for the first in this series will be going back to last April for single #27 which was "The Middle Management". Will be working backwards so the next post will be featuring their 26th single "I Miss You/The Future".

As you may have deduced those are some of the covers for the single, the B-side tunes are titled "Gamusha Life" and "Tsugi no Kado wo Magare". The A-side has really moved up my personal charts this last month or so, have always thought it's an A+ song but lately can't hear it enough.
Like all of C-ute's singles it sold reasonably well it's first week then quickly dropped off the charts. it's first week it ranked #3 selling close to 61,000 copies but only sold about 4,000 copies after that. These 'single's posts' are going to have quite a few pics so let's get right to the first batch which are some of the group together.

Some member promo pics, no need to tell you the names as the first pic in each set has that for you.

Am usually going to post a live video or a different version of the single but seeing how the PV is English subbed will stick with the PV which you can view after these screenshots.
