Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Nogizaka46: 2017 Magazine scans #9

Whew, we all know what a knockout Mai has been for years but haven't her looks somehow improved to such an unbelievable level? She's hit a plateau that very few of my faves have ever reached, kind of at a loss for adjectives for her these days....
"Passport" sold 103,500 copies it's first week out which most consider to be a record for an Idol and if the sales remain strong she'll soon have the best selling photobook of all time. Kind of unfair in a way for Manatsu and Reika who have their first books coming out soon, even if they sell well they'll pale in comparison to those (sales) figures.😅
Single #17 is coming out in about thirty days, March 22nd to be exact. Still no title, covers or promo pics but there is one pic featuring all of the 21(!) Senbatsu members.

Sadly that pic is missing Nanami, first single without her. It's the 20th in Japan right now which means she's just turned 24, will do a post tomorrow for it as I do have quite a few new things for her. It's also her graduation concert which I really hope gets streamed as I'm sure so many of her fans want to view the performance. Bet the last two songs of the show will be "Sayonara no Imi" which was the only single she's centered plus it's their best seller to date.
Last song should be the solo Nanami tune "Naimononedari" which was a b-side on the last single and has just been released as a PV. She also sang it on this week's "AKB Show" and let's not forget her second PB is also going to be released on the 20th, what a tense day Monday will be for her.

Among other things? Well, it'd be nice to stop living in sin....😉

Once again not a huge amount of spreads but at the end of the week there will be a huge amount of them coming out. Besides those hoping I can post some things about their 5th Birthday concerts which are taking place Monday through Wednesday.
On to the spreads and have a new member to begin us off. Late last year Nogi recruited twelve new girls, they're third generation members and there hadn't been any new members since 2013. Would figure there will be plenty more graduations taking place the next few years so management is planning for the future.
Of all the new members seems Mizuki Yamashita has been the most popular one after three months. She's had two solo mag spreads already but like all of the new members doesn't have her own blog page yet. First off is a set from last year which came out in December and it's from Young Magazine #52, have another solo one following this small set.

Not twins but to me she really resembles Erika. This is a brand new spread from Big Comic Spirits #10 which has six pics, others are bonus pics.

On to the big guns and Mai is the biggest gun in Japan at the moment, this superb set is from the March 1st issue of Weekly Shonen which look tame compared to her photobook.

Nanase's second PB held the record with over 110,000 copies sold, looks like that record will fall by the wayside this Thursday when last week's sales figures are released. This final spread is from the April issue of Non-no, also have a Nanase promo video for it after the pics and the final five feature various members. Guess at 40 pics it's hard to call it a small post like I did above.
