Guess it's the end of seeing pics like those, once you've established yourself as a somewhat big star actress there's no need to do photo shoots like that any more. And a big star is what Kasumi is these days, her popularity has really skyrocketed these last few years. At one time she had very few lead roles but now that's all she has which is a great thing for her.
We haven't heard much from Kasumi the last few months but it's not because she hasn't been busy, it's actually the opposite as she's been too busy. She has the starring role in the next NHK asadora drama "Hiyokko" which starts in April. Those shows run six mornings a week so many episodes needed to be filmed before the show begins.
Also Kasumi will be in four films this year with the first one being the topic of this thread, 'March Comes in Like a Lamb 1". It's the first of two movies, this one comes out on March 18th while the second will be released on April 22nd. Quite a huge cast so this may be one project she doesn't have a huge role in. This is someone who is in the film who I don't know much about, her name is Kana Kurashina and I may need to check out much more about her as she's one cutie. She's been in about 25 dramas and ten films but don't think I've seen any of them.
Part one had it's first screening today at the Tokyo International Forum and most of the cast was on hand. Like I mentioned above Kasumi has been much more conservative the last year or so but still looks mighty fine to me and I'm sure all of her fans.Not many other new happenings but there have been a few so will do another post for her very soon.
