Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Keyakizaka46... Erina Mano... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Lee Yeon-Hee!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Nogizaka46: Mai Shiraishi- "Passport" photobook release event pics

Time is zooming by as Nanami's graduation is only thirteen days away, easily will be the saddest day of the year. Mai made a few comments about it during today's event, you'd think she'd be one of the logical choices to graduate next. Hope it's later than sooner but we have to face the facts that shortly many first generation members will be leaving, so many are slowly getting up there in age. Above are two ultra fabulous pics from Mai's second photobook and here a few more jaw-dropping ones.

As far as Nogi records go the number to break is 58,000 which is the most a member's PB has sold in it's first week. Bet Mai's new "Passport" book will eclipse that amount easily, there's been 130,000 copies made to date. Her first PB was titled "Seijun na Otona" and was released in December 2014. To date it's sold close to 80,000 copies which this new one should top within two weeks.
On February 7th Mai was at a release event for the new book, it took place at the Fuke bookstore in Shinjuku. Lot of the book was shot in the LA and San Diego areas last October. Many pics from today's event here, looking much more conservative than the pics from the PB which both shock and please me. So far there's no good video out yet for the event but that's okay in a way as it means there will another post for this event. But after the pics do have a short video for Haruyama as Nogi has a series of new CM's for the clothing company.
