Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: 'The Mai Shiraishi post' #14

Hard to believe this is only Mai's 14th solo post, bet I've screwed up on the counting somewhere along the line. That bottom pic above is a promo one for her second photobook "Passport" which is coming out next Tuesday, she doesn't need a passport to enter my residence(or any other reader I'm sure)! Mai's first PB from 2014 sold very well as it sold over 30,000 copies in it's first week and over 70,000 in all.
But the group as become so much more popular since then so the records are much higher to break. Asuka's book which came out on January 25th sold 58,000 copies in it's first week while the second PB from Nanase is coming close to hitting the 100 K mark. Here's the cover for the PB and sure there will be a few posts next week if she has a release event for it.

Just two new mag spreads but this first one is so superb made no sense to hold on to it. These jaw-dropping Mai pics are from the February 17th issue of Friday.

Those above pics are promo ones for the new book, have a feeling it could be the PB of the year. Much more conservative set of pics from the March edition of Ray.

Along with Haruna Mai has been the co-host of the weekly 'Uma Daisuki' show for quite a few years. Noticed that the name of the show has changed as it's now called 'Umazukingdom'. Here are some screenshots from last Saturday's show, following them is a video of the entire show.
