Nogizaka46: 'Nogizaka Singles Series' #4- "Seifuku no Mannequin"

More 'how they've grown up in four years' pics.

Am enjoying doing this series and more so with every post. Unsure how many total singles I'll be doing, think most of the ones from the last 2+ years are fairly represented here so thinking about going up to either single nine or ten.
For these first four singles feel every one has just gotten so much better or at least to me. After this single what really makes them all so good are the B-sides, those songs on the first four singles have been okay but after this one sometimes the B-sides are better then the hit song. Of course as you know by the title this single is "Seifuku no Mannequin" which was released on December 19, 2012.
That date is so close to X-Mas, wonder why it wasn't released two weeks before to get more holiday sales. Then again the sales were excellent in it's first week out, sales keep increasing with every single. First single sold 136,000 copies in it's first week, single number two sold 155,000 while the third single sold 186,000. This one had a huge increase as it sold 232,000 copies in it's first week and sold steadily for a while.
Perhaps because it came out in December but the single was included in the best selling singles list for 2013 as it ranked #21 and to date as sold close to 310,00 copies. There were four versions of the single that were released, here are their covers with some other promo pics.

Rina was the center for these first four singles, since then think she's just had that position once more. Bit of a change in the front row, Erika was still there but this time Minami was moved up. Here's the lineup for the song and looks like the Senbatsu members were the same as single #3.

Know that there were Nogi calendars for 2014 and 2015 but unsure if there was one for last year, didn't notice one but surprised individual members don't have one. If there isn't one in two years then will post the group calendar as 2013 should have the same dates for 2019. The calendar was broken down into weeks, here's two weeks of Nanami and Mai. Has nothing to do with the single but trying to add in some older group things that weren't here.

As the group got more established the amount of cards released increased, that could be another project which is posting cards from 2012-13 but here are the ones for this single.

The 'Girls Awards Show' hold 2-3 events a year and Nogi makes an appearance at all of them . First time they performed at one their fashion shows was on November 9, 2012 as Mai and Nanase took a turn on the catwalk. The group also performed at the show but surprisingly didn't sing this single but instead their previous one which was 'Hashire! Bicyle".

Of course there were some mag spreads from that period for the single, first one is a solo set for Mai from WPB #53.

Group one this time from the Winter issue of Girl Pop which was for December 1st.

Seems getting to the single is a bit unclimatic! Many versions on YT including the PV but the video here is from August 31, 2015 when they played the last of their Summer tour concerts at Tokyo's Meiji Stadium.
