Rena Takeda: WPB #12 scans plus a few other new happenings....

 Nogi's 17th single comes out this Wednesday so it's a bit surprising we haven't seen more of the group promoting it, perhaps they think they're so huge these days they don't have to work as hard? Usually they attend events like the Kansai Spring/Summer fashion show but they didn't appear at the event which was held today, more on that later on.
 But a fine substitute for a Nogi post is one for Rena, after them her she's probably the most popular gal here though Nogi does have the advantage with having so many members. There haven't been as many Rena mag spreads so far this year, she's been concentrating more on her acting career. She'll be appearing in three films coming out later this year along with a drama. That show is titled "Million Yen Women" which starts next month on TV Tokyo and looks like her role will be fairly big. Appears to be an interesting and quirky mystery as there's five women living in the same apartment who each pay a rent of one million yen.

 As you can see she's not the only Rena in the drama, that's a show I'm definitely going to try to check out. Rena has a Line blog which she updates quite often with many pics, here are some from the last month.

 Rena's first and only photobook "Short" was released last March, think it's time for her second one. That was an okay book but she looks so much better these days, not that there was anything wring with her a year ago!
 This spread from WPB #12 is a mini book with eleven pics titled 'Sweet 19 Memories'. Rena will be turning 20 in July, she's been around so long you'd think she would be older than that.

 On March 19th Rena was at the Kansai Spring/Summer fashion show which was held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka. The show just ended an hour ago and these are really big events as last year's show drew 38,000 fans. Rena is usually at these fashion shows, at today's event she didn't model any kind of clothing line. Instead she was doing some promoting for 'Cafe and Pakakes', she's done a few CM's for them in the past and you can view one after the pics.
