This premiere news is the only item for this post, am fairly caught up with Kasumi happenings as there's been quite a few posts these last few weeks for her. Actually should say for this entire year, wouldn't doubt if she hasn't had more posts than anyone else to date except for Nogi. Kasumi's asadora drama "Hiyokko" starts in sixteen days so sure we'll see more of her promoting the show.
This film is the first of a two part series, second installment is going to be released on April 22nd. Looks like an interesting set of movies which are about a seventeen year old boy who has been a Shogi pro for a few years and the problems he's now having meeting non-Shogi players. Bit of a big cast but Kasumi could be the most popular person so her role hopefully is big.
The premiere took place at the TOHO Cinemas in Roppongi Hills, most of these bigger premieres seem to take place at one of two cinemas. Plenty of pics here from the event and following them is a video of it. Kasumi kind of shows off her throwing skills, sure she could be the ace of any of our pitching staffs.... actually our ace in more ways than that!
