Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

C-ute: Maimi Yajima H!P cards from.... 2011!!!! #2
Bit of a change over the years as far as looks go(would hope so), of course that's to be expected as the above is from 2005 while this pic was for their 2016 Autumn 'Compass' tour.
Will go on record saying every member looks better eleven years(!),😉 though I've never done any solo posts for Chisato or Mai both look good, especially the latter as every one in C-ute is now at least 21 or older. Once agin had wanted to post the covers or promo pics for the group's final single which is coming out on March 29th but there's still been zero of them released. Would think(hope) we'll start seeing some things by next week at the latest.
C-ute's graduation concert is set for June 12th at the Saitama Super Arena, that's a mere 102 days away. Think about eighty of those days we'll be seeing the group on music shows or doing concerts as they have a busy schedule for their remaining months. Here's a promo poster for their final Osaka performances which will be taking place May 28th to the 30th.
C-ute posts usually aren't that popular around here even after all the posts I've done for them though Saturday's pairs post has probably been their most viewed one to date. The group has a photobook coming out on May 1st but what we all want to see is another Maimi PB, the last five years no Idol has topped her books. Had her 6th on last year's top twenty list, said at the time I may regret a decision or two and that may be one as she should have definitely been higher. Maimi's first 2011 card post didn't draw a lot of interest but think I may enjoy posting about her more than just about anyone. There are so many of them there may be another post coming up soon.
