Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Ikumi Hisamatsu: DVD promo event pics/video and one new mag spread
Title of this DVD which is the third one from Ikumi is "Soreiku! In New Caledonia", obviously that's where it was filmed. The DVD was released on Ikumi's 21st birthday which happened on February 18th, here's some promo pics for it.
Whew, with pics like that think it's time for Ikumi's second photobook, her first came out in December 2015. Already been three posts this year dedicated to her stupendous mag spreads which means there's just one today which is from WPB #10.
Like too many products the prices are so much higher in Japan versus America. The regular DVD goes for $36 while the Blue-Ray is $45.40. Very few woman top Ikumi who has moved into my top spot for current gravure Idols but those prices are a bit steep even for her biggest fans though through CDJapan the cost is a few dollars less but then again there's shipping. I've probably ordered a few hundred CD's, DVD's and mags from Japan but not so much these last few years. At one time the prices were reasonable but a few years ago those prices seemed to skyrocket.
On to the main topic which is a promo event that was held on March 4th for the DVD. The event took place at Tower Records in Shibuya, Ikumi was a bit more covered up but still looks breathtaking to me(us). At the event she mentioned she wanted to wait until she was thirty to get married, that's still many years away but I can wait! Better get in line soon as I'm sure it would stretch from here to the moon. Many fabulous pics here from the event and there's a video after them for it.
