Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Nogizaka46: 15th single news plus 'Music Day' show screenshots and video

First pic is the lineup for the group's 15th single along with one of the covers. Finally yesterday the title for the song was released which is "Hadashi de Summer", their 9th single also had Summer in the title, "Natsu(Summer) Free and Easy". The single is coming out on July 27th, so far haven't heard any snippets of the tune but sure they'll start performing it soon.
There will be a total of six songs on it, the Undergirls naturally have a song along with a few other solo or group songs. Marika and Sayuri I. who were recently demoted to the Undergirl ranks will have a song on it with just the two of them, perhaps to make up for the demotion. There's going to be a total of five versions of the single and four of them will also have some videos though think you have to buy all four of the versions to get all of the videos. Here are the other covers for the single.

"Kikkake" aka Trigger is rapidly becoming one of the group's signature songs, think they've performed it the last four times on a music show. Would imagine though that we won't be hearing too much more as the group will probably be doing the new single on future shows.
On July 1st the group along with their offshoot '46' group were on the 'Music Day show where once again 'Kikkake" was performed, there was a segue between their two songs which you can view in the video after these screenshots.
