Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: 'Girls Awards' Fall/Winter show pics and video #1

Four posts today for this event and may have another one tomorrow with some missed catwalk pics. The group is scheduled to announce the details of their 16th single next Sunday on their 'Under Construction' show which will be 3 1/2 weeks before the singles release.
It's got quite a high barrier to beat as their fifteenth single "Hadashi de Summer" continues to sell well. Total sales are up to 845,000+ which is their highest number yet, every single is setting a group record and the total copies sold are so much higher than they were a year ago.
At Saturday's 'Girls Awards' show Nogi performed that single and another crowd favorite 'Popipappapa" which is a B-side from their "Ima, Hanashitai Dareka" single. If you've been following my 'Nogi singles series' then you know most of my faves are B-sides and that tune is one of them. That single came out in October of 2015 and has sold over 740,000 copies, you can see what an increase the last single had over it and 'Ima' was the #6 best selling single last year in Japan.

Unfortunately there's no videos of the group performing those two songs though the other posts for their appearance at the event had many of them on the catwalk. So after these fabulous group pics of the group singing those two songs there's a video of "Popopappapa" from last year's X-Mas show.
