Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!
Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Airi Suzuki: Even many more recent happenings....
Lack of C-ute group posts this last month but certainly not a lack of them for Airi as this is her fourth post in the last month. Though the group is disbanding on June 12th that date won't be the last we see of Airi she's easily the most active and popular member of C-ute. Curious on whether she's going to continue her musical career, I've always thought she's one of the best vocalists in J-Pop. That above video is of the group performing a shorter version of "Kiss Me Aishiteru" on the 22nd at Buono's final concert, they also did "The Curtain Rises" at the show.
EDIT: That above video was deleted which was kind of surprising. So added in a promo video for the group's new 'DVD Magazine' which is volume 31.
More about that Buono concert below. C-ute has been doing so many concerts lately as they're trying to squeeze as many in before their breakup which takes place in twenty days. However there have been a few other new happenings with the group and hopefully Friday can have a post for them.
Will also be having another post this week for Airi as she's been one extremely busy gal these days, actually she's always been busy but even more so lately. She's been an exclusive Ray model for over two years now and she'll be on the cover of their July issue.
Hope to have the spread for her next post plus C-ute has also been in two recent mags. Airi has just released another photobook which is titled "Airimania", it came out today. It's not your usual PB but more of a personal style book, here's some interview pics she did for it with Modelpress.
In the interview Airi was talking about how she's not overly popular with the male fans(must have forgotten about me) but thinks she's extremely popular with the female fans of C-ute. That could be accurate and there are many Idols in other groups who seem to be popular with the females much more than the males.
The "Airimania" book was released today and Airi had a hand shaking event for it at the Tsutuya bookstore in Shibuya. The event just happened a little while ago so there aren't many pics of it yet nor a video so will have more on the event in her next post. First pic is the book's cover along with a few promo ones for the PB followed by some from today's event.
Buono is a group I admit not knowing enough about, no real reason for that as just about every song I've heard from them has been good. They've been in sort of a state of limbo since 2012 though last year the group released a new single which was quite superb and headlined a few concerts.
C-ute isn't the only group Airi is in that's disbanding as Buono has officially called it quits and they held their final concert on May 22nd at the Yokohama arena. Plenty of fine looking pics from their last show here and will have more in Airi's next post. After the pics check out the group performing "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" from the final concert, most of the show is on YT.
