Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Keyakizaka46... Erina Mano... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Lee Yeon-Hee!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!
Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.
Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Keyakizaka46: The 'Rika Watanabe post' #4....
Will be doing more posts for the other Keya members soon but Rika's the kind of a gal I like and am going to try to do as many posts as possible for her first. Not sure what I meant by she's the kind of gal I like as Rika is one I really can't put into a category yet but she has been one funny gal in the serious 'Tokuyama' drama plus there's no denying her stupendous attractiveness.
Rika turned 22 last Tuesday, for her b-day post and her following one had many mag spreads from 2016. Was planning on having many more things from that year but then realized there's so many spreads from this year so will devote most of this post towards them. After these solo posts still plan on having a 'pairs post' with her Watanabe counterpart Risa who is three years younger. Both hail from Ibaraki which is just north of Tokyo, neither are related.
On to some fine mag spreads and as I've mentioned before the ones for Keya to date are fairly conservative like Nogi's were in their first two years of existence. That's fine with me as the pics are still are superb, wonder who the first Keya member will be who kind of breaks out to be a sex symbol like Mai did.
After Mai did seems as though the floodgates opened as Nogi's members do so many gravure types of spreads these days along with some jaw-dropping photobooks. Back to Rika who has some mighty fine spreads for this year, first off is this set from the May issue of Bomb.
Another May spread though much smaller which is from EX-Taishu.
This too is a smaller spread but it was actually a group set from Weekly Shonen Champion #22 and just have Rika's pics from the issue.
That's Risa again in the bottom pic with Rika, the pair do appear in many mag spreads together. Next set is also from Weekly Shonen Champion and it's from issue #5-6.
Final 2017 spread is the best of the bunch as she graces the cover of the April 4th Manga Action.
Go from some brand new happenings to the oldest one for Keya. The auditions for the group were held in the Summer of 2015, on August 21st of that year is when the press conference was held to announce the members. At first the name of the group was Torizaka46, it changed for no reason and the date of August 21st was when Nogi had also been formed back in 2011.
Rika was one of the lucky twenty two out of 22,000+ gals who had auditioned. In these pics from that press conference all of the members were dressed in a regular high school uniform except for Rika, she's the oldest Keya member and had graduated by then so perhaps that's why the uniform was different. Plenty of fine Rika pics here from the press conference though like most '46' events there's no video. Read that Rika was so nervous she left her carry bag at the train station, shouldn't the new members have been chauffeured in?
