Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Mizuki Yamamoto: "Peach Girl" movie premiere pics

Have had more posts for Mizuki in this last month than the previous two years combined. No good reason why I had forgot about her for so long as Mizuki is without a doubt one of the most beautiful woman around. She usually has good sized roles in dramas and films but rarely has the lead part but she does in the "Peach Girl' movie, be nice if it turns out to be a hit as she really deserves a bit more recognition.

"Peach Girl" has been a popular manga over the years in Japan selling over 13 million copies. Personally I thought it was just a so-so manga but that could be because it' geared more towards females. Mizuki has the lead role and her character's name is Momo Adachi.
The premiere took place today at the Marunouchi Piccadilly cinemas, think it'll be playing at 300 other cinemas so looks like it's expected to be a successful movie. You'll see Mei Nagano in some of the pics, will be doing a post for her from this event next week. She's hosting the 'Girls Locks!' radio show next week so will combine the two into one post. Plenty of fine looking Mizuki pics here from the event though no video is out yet but that's okay as it means I may do another post for her real soon if a video is released.
