Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Rena Takeda... Miyu Kitamuki... Nogizaka46!....Risa Watanabe.... Nanase Nishino!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!
Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.
The new blog is up and running, there you will find 100% of the posts dedicated to actresses, dramas and films. That means you won't find those types of posts here any more which means you'll have to go there for posts featuring Erika Toda, Mio Imada, Tsubasa Honda, Park Min-Young and many others.

Bae Suzy: Few more happenings for March....
Been slacking badly on my Korean drama viewing the past two moths. Finished the "Girls
Generation 1979" series then and haven't viewed one episode of any drama since. Maybe it's just me but don't think the Winter season has been too strong for shows, not enough edgy or action series. Slacking is also a word to be used for my my posting of Korean actresses, posts for them seem to go hand in hand with my drama watching.
When I'm on a massive Korean drama marathon the posts for them seem to come quite easily and much more frequently, the opposite also holds true. Suzy is one actress who I haven't forgotten about and with her dazzling looks it's impossible to do that. At the top is a video from her latest mini album 'Faces of Love'. Title of the song is "SObeR", odd spelling of the word but sure it may hold some meaning for a teenybopper. Suzy looks fabulous in the video which wasn't released as a single, she sparkles but it's best to listen to the song on mute.
"While You Were Sleeping" was my #1 drama for 2017, there were many fine ones but to me it blew the competition away. Some drama fans didn't enjoy Suzy's performance in the show but to me it was top notch. That series ended on November 16th, since then Suzy hasn't appeared on any shows or films. At the end of January there was a story that her next drama may be "Come Hug Me". But it's been two months since that announcement and no further news of it has been released. Kind of hoping she doesn't do another sappy love story show as there's been too many for the Winter season.
On to some newish Suzy pics and hadn't realized there was a post for her on March 7th so she's been one busy gal. Should be even busier as Spring begins in May or at least where I reside. That means there's going to be plenty of Spring/Summer collection pics coming out as Suzy represents so many clothing lines such as K2 and these are some new pics for the company.
Wonder why Korean actresses and Idols don't have photobooks like their Japanese counterparts? Bet they would sell reasonably well, if someone such as Suzy had a PB bet it would fly off the shelves. Perhaps there are some kinds of books and I'm just not aware of them so in the meantime we'll have to live with stunning mag spreads like this one from the April edition of Cosmopolitan.
Suzy must appear at three or four events a months and she looks so striking at all of them. On March 17th she was at a fan greeting session for Chum Churum which is a brand of Soju, wonder if she's a drinker? The event was held at the Atrium Plaza at the Lotte Mall in Seoul and Lotte is the company which owns Chum Churum.
Those pics above are super-duper but the ones here blow them away. On Friday Suzy was at another event which was for Lancome cosmetics, didn't need to look up in a dictionary what the word goddess means.... whewwww.... The event was for a new product for the company called 'L'Absolu Lacquer' which shouldn't be confused with liquor. Ran out of superlatives to describe Suzy pics so here's many oki doki ones from the event to savor.... whew again. No long video of the event but do have a short one after the pics that will certainly have you jumping into a cold shower, two were needed for me while I did this post....
