Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Nogizaka46: 2017 Magazine scans #43 and more....

Nogi played the second of their first two Summer tour concerts today at the Meiji Stadium in Tokyo, that's where they ended last year's tour. Hard to call it the beginning of the tour as the next time they'll be in concert won't be until August 11th though think they'll be performing at a 'TGC' show at the end of the month.
The first show was set up differently than the ones in the past. First up doing a set were the new third generation members who were followed by the Undergirls and they combined to do seventeen sings. The Senbatsu members naturally performed the most songs which was close to twenty though no mention of the new single. Erika wasn't at the first show which is probably the main reason for that though she was supposed to be at the second performance. They may announce the single's title but the Senbatsu lineup won't be revealed until next Sunday's 'Under Construction' show.

Nogi appeared on yesterday's special 'The Music Day' show, have a video from it at the bottom. Think the last five or so mag spread posts have only had pics from two mags, bit of a slowdown for the members recently though there are many pics today. Kotoko is someone who isn't seen around here too often, she's been an Undergirl now for close to four years. She seems like a smart and interesting gal but she is just way too quiet, that could be why her and others have remained an UG for so long. She starts us off with a fairly big set from the August issue of UTB.

Miona and Nanase graced the cover for the August Bubka but for some reason only had one page each though there are a few more members from the issue.

Kazumi was kind of quiet the first four months of the year but lately it seems we've seen her more than any other member. That's something I'm really enjoying as she's close to being my fave member and may have an outside shot at claiming this year's top spot. Kazumi's last two spreads have been too incredible to believe, this jaw-dropping set is also from the August issue of Bubka.

The third generation members were appearing in too many mags to count but there's been a huge slowdown on them recently. But do have some really fine pics here from a new interview for the Realsound.jp site that features Mizuki and Shiori, it's an interview worth reading.

Some recent Summer tour cards with Erika and Mai.

'The Music Day' show is a special one that is aired every Summer. They always have huge groups on the show such as yesterday AKB, Keya and Perfume were some of the popular groups who appeared. Of course you can't have a show like that and not have Nogi who did appear. After their concert they performed "Hadashi de Summer" for the show, bit of an abbreviated version though they had already done twenty songs. Have a short video of it to end this post off, should stay on YT as it's garnered 500,000 views in a day.
