Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Erika Toda!... Yuko Oshima... Nogizaka46!.... C-ute.... Masami Nagasawa!.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Also these days(mid-2017) have many posts for Korean actresses, dramas and films that are worth checking out as over the years have become a much bigger fan of Korean dramas versus the ones from Japan.

Few tidbits.... have no idea why the background color constantly changes, think Blogger keeps doing it.
New item on the right is the 'Featured Post of the Day', will be putting some fabulous oldie posts which some of you may have missed the first time around, all will be at least one year old.

Masami Nagasawa and Maimi Yajima(!)(?): Two recent small news items....

Know it's an odd pairing for a post but who wouldn't love to see them somehow together, hard to argue with anyone who would have them occupy the top two spots on their fave gal list. Both have two upcoming terrific things but there are so few pics and news about them couldn't see doing a post for either of the new happenings, actually there's not enough for even one post. First time I've ever done a post like this and really don't see it happening too often if at all in the future.

First off is the Maimi news, she did an entry on her blog last Friday where she announced she'll be releasing her 10th photobook on August 27th. Terrific news as I've been clamoring for a new C-ute PB for a while, the date is exactly one year since her last book. The title of it is "Hitori no Kisetsu", in that blog entry Maimi said the book was shot in Taiwan last May when the group stopped there for a concert on their last tour.
Besides that info she didn't say much more about it but sure there will be more info on it coming out very soon. Not the greatest of pics but she did post these two unofficial ones from the photobook, so far they're the only ones available. Here are those two and have a few of her older PB pics after them, if the new PB pics are even 1% as fabulous as the older pics then wowowowowowowowowow!!!!

Sure you can see why I had to combine these new events together as there' just four new pics in this set. But what stunning four pics they are as Masami looks more vampish than she ever has, what I wouldn't give to have a whole photobook with pics like these!
These jaw-dopping pics are promo ones for the stage play "Cabaret" which opens in January at the EX Theater in Roppongi, after that there will be performances in Osaka, Aichi and two other cities. Masami will have the starring role of Sally in the play which I think his her third one. Don't know about the rest of you but I'm in total awe with these pics, sure hope there's more of them coming out. After those four new pics have a few oldies so you can compare them, personally the level of perfection has always been there but seems to have risen to an unbeatable level....

  1. masami is lovely and beautiful but yaji made me focus all my attention on her again

also, i noticed that seira hatanaka is still in your nogizaka birthday order list. apparently all the graduated former nogizaka members are following each other on twitter and nene ito, seira hatanaka and seira serizawa(?) still hang out together quite often.

  2. Easy to see how Maimi gets anyone's attention, she easily tops 99.99% of the women in the world. Hadn't thought of the b-day list until you mentioned it, will try cleaning it up this week.
