Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Kang Ji-Young: Her intro post #1....
May take it slow for a day or two, there's been a post for almost forty straight days which is a record for me. Usually have taken one day a week off and these Korean drama posts have worn me out so if there's not many posts these next few days you'll know why.
Not too tired though to introduce someone and hard to say how to classify Ji-Young. She's from Korea, many know her from the K-Pop group Kara but the last three years she's been based in Japan and her acting career is becoming popular. She's also continued her singing career and did have two top ten singles last year. The last single Ji-Young did with Kara was "French Kiss", not to be confused with the J-Pop group.
That song came out on November 27, 2013 and in April of the following year Ji-Young left the group soon to relocate in Japan where the group was/is very popular. Actually their songs are okay and to me they're better than most other K-Pop groups. Above are two covers of the single and the video isn't the PV but a behind the scenes one of Ji-Young for it's making.
To date I've only seen Ji-Young in one thing though that'll be changing. The film I saw her in was the first "Assassination Classroom", there's a part two which I haven't viewed yet. The first movie was extremely off the wall but it was a really fun watch, did recap it and gave it a positive review. In the film Ji-Young played a teacher named Irina Jelavic and it was hard not to notice her curves....
Ji-Young is turning 24 in January and there should be plenty of her activities from the last 3-4 years to post about Seems the past few months I'm starting to like Korean actresses a bit more than their Japanese counterparts and who would have thought that would ever happen. There will be no order to these intro posts but all will be packed with some ultra fabulous pics. Have three mag spreads for today and will go old to new with the first set being from volume 78 of High Cut from 2013.
High Cut is a Korean mag while these next two are from Japan issues, because of Ji-Young's move to Japan she appears in more of their mags. This set is from the August 17, 2015 Big Comic Spirits.
Another Big Comic Spirits spread and this is a newer one from their June 5th edition.
One thing there will never be a shortage of are Ji-Young pics from promo events or premieres, she appears at so many of them and always looks stunning to the Nth degree. On October 21st she was at the Japanese premiere of the "DC Super Heroes vs. Hawks Claw Team", in the anime film she did the voice of Hawley.
Also there was a premiere of the Japanese anime film "Secret Society Hawks Claw" which is kind of a spoof on the other movie. The event took place at the Shinjuku Picadilly, Ji-Young was dressed down a bit but doesn't she look just so appealing???? The answer to that is a huge YES and after the pics you can enjoy viewing a video of the event.
