Bit of a weak season for dramas so glad this is airing, will probably be my #1 series for this quarter by default but that doesn't mean it's not a good show because it is, really wish there could be a few more seasons of it.Episode 4 didn't really have as a plot Tsukiko's fave obsession which are urban legends but the legend is back, it being a ghost named Hanako. Hanako was a popular movie series back in the 90's, it dealt with a female ghost who haunted the girl's room, haven't seen any of the films but heard they were good. Well Hanako makes an appearance on this episode as she's haunting the third floor girl's room, one girls ended up dying there, did she kill herself or was it the urban legend? We all know what Tsukiko is hoping for as her team is called in to solve the mystery, the school where the death occured also happens to house a popular Idol group and the one who died was one of the more popular members. Main suspect in the beginning was also a member of the group, the girl who died and her also appeared to be each other's rivals. But shortly after she was a suspect she tried to kill herself in the same girl's room, least at first it looked like another suicide or was it, was it Hanako or was a regular human being behind these incidents?
Well, keeping true to form it sadly wasn't an urban legend to Tsukiko's disappointment but the death and apparent suicide attempt were done by a teacher at the school. The teacher was having an affair with the teenage female student who was killed, the student tried to break it off but the teacher wouldn't hear of it. As they struggled in the girl's room the teacher accidentally stabbed the student, the teacher escaped by dressing up as an idol and except for a lucky camera that showed her escaping from the girl's room the case may not have been solved. The teacher was also the one who tried to kill the second student, she made it look like a suicide attempt but the evidence also came out to prove the teacher guilty in that incident. So another case which Tsukiko solved, lucky for her though there was a camera which caught the culprit on film but eventually she would have solved it, but once again no urban legend for her.
No urban legend but could Tsukiko have finally met up with a ghost?! She had some help in the case from a student named Kanako whose twin sister had committed suicide in the same girl's room some years prior. However after the case was solved she learned that Kanako had also killed herself some years before, no urban legend but Tsukiko had finally at least met something a bit close to one, a real 'live' ghost. With about 5 more episodes to go would think Tsukiko will finally meet up with a real legend, let's hope that it happens.
Not an original plot this time but as usual a real enjoyable watch, bit better than the previous episode. Masami looked better than ever too in this show, you'll agree with that by the screenshots that are in the next two posts, wow is she once incredibly one attractive woman, just gets more attractive by the second it seems!
