Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hono Tamura: Her transcendent "Tonari no Seki ni Naritai" photobook scans

Don't think it's worked out as well the last few months but for the past four or so years have always tried to lead off a month with a magnificent photobook. The intention for a while was to lead off February with this book though of course you can see it didn't work out that way. For I have an even better photobook that came out about the same time and didn't want to wait until March for that or this one so why not have this now? That other book will be for an AKB member and still wait at least three months after an Idol book has been released before posting it.

Photobook posts aren't uncommon here but posts for current Keya members certainly have been far and few between the last year. My interest did wane once my favorite gals left, I do like everyone from the second generation but things just aren't the same which in a way is both good and bad. The sales for Keya's singles have risen to an all time high the last two years though as a whole don't think the group is as popular as they once were. That's because the group's biggest stars have all left, all the current members are very likable but they don't have those bigger stars like they once did. For instance what a drop there has been in photobooks, this was the only to come out in 2024 and the year before think just two were released. Probably because management doesn't feel many members would sell a high amount of copies and they may be correct as even this book didn't hit the presumed expectation.

For a long tome Hono was my top 2G member, that's no longer the case as she has been passed by two gals and it's mainly because of a decrease in activities. Hono is the oldest 2G member and will be turning 27 in age this October, the 21st to be exact and this book came out one day after her 26th birthday. I really thought, so didn't many fans, that when this book was announced it would be for Hiono's graduation but in a surprise that wasn't the case which is a good thing. But now that Keya just has one first generation member left who will be leaving soon it may mean the mass exodus of 2G members may be starting soon and really no key member from that generation has left yet.

This is one terrific book but to me honest I thought Hono's first may be a bit better and the post I did for that three years ago may have had the most views of any post in that stretch of time. For the photo shoot Hono traveled to the exotic city of Santa Fe and what an odd location that was for a photobook. Hono's first book which came out in August 2021 sold 85,000 copies after two months, of course the total has risen since then so perhaps it's close to a 100 K. This second book was an okay seller but total sales after five weeks was only 41,000 copies sold or less than half of the first book. Can't give a reason for the drop as this is a superb book so where did her fans go? On to the book which is a large one with 137 pages and books the last few years have become so huge, naturally Hono looks so super duper and I do vow to work on having more posts for her in the future but need her to cooperate.
