Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Aya Ueto: Itsuka Hi no Ataru Basho de episode 1 screenshots

Seems too many dramas as of late are in a way wasting the first episode with trying to give us all the facts about the main characters, not that it's a bad thing but wish they would get more into the story also, this was an okay first episode but don't have much clue yet about the storyline or where the show is going.

Aya plays Hako Komoriya who was just released from prison after spending 7 years there taking the rap for her boyfriend in a robbery, upon her release she meets up with the friend she made there Aya Eguchi played by Naoko Iijima. Not much goes right for Hako in this first episode, she ends up living alone in her grandmother's abandoned house, her family has disowned her and she was forced to sign a document where she was taken off the family register. Also she has zero success in finding a job, she has never had one and really can't tell any employer where she has spent the last 7 years, the only thing she has is her friendship with Eguchi, but even she has troubles of her own. That's really all that happened in the opening episode, like I said it was still an okay watch but too many dramas are taking too long to get to the main point, hoping the next mini review can give a bit more insight of what's going to happen, this is one of the dramas that can go either way, gonna watch that tomorrow so will be back soon for hopefully a better take on this series. Aya so far looks quite good in the show as you can see by all these screenshots though so far her character is one depressing person but then again we all might be if we were in her spot.
