Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Fumika Baba: Some current happenings....
Fumika is just as busy as ever yet we don't hear as much from her though this is already her second post of the year. Bet from 2015 until early 2017 no gravure Idol appeared in as many mags as Fumika did but she's slowed down on them drastically since about May of last year. She's concentrating much more on her acting career which is a wise decision as there's more of a future in that. Fumika appeared in three dramas last year, none yet for 2018 though will be in two films including the 'Code Blue' movie, info for the other one is at the bottom of the post.
Had Fumika's 2018 calendar in her last post but in case you missed it above are the pics for March and April. Did just get through saying that Fumika has really slowed down on her mag spreads but do have some for today, also many of the sets from the past six months or so have been very conservative. That's a bit of a shame as very few can top Fumika's curves though even dressed up she still looks like a few billion yen. WPB has been the mag she's appeared in the most by far and these are from issue #1 that came out in January.
Hikarigraph isn't a true magazine as it's a website so guess you could consider it a web mag. These are pics from an interview Fumika did with them in December.
Final Fumika set is a bit older and was one I missed from May of last year. It's from Soccer Game King and that mag has so many gravure/J-Pop Idols appear in it's issues.
Those above two sets aren't the pics you're used to seeing from her but to me she looks oki doki in them. Fumika's first upcoming film is titled "Bastard and the Beautiful World", it'll be released on April 6th. It's going to be a limited time release as it's supposedly just going to be in the cinemas for two weeks.
It's an omnibus and her segment is titled "Pianist, do not shoot" and her character's name is Fujiko. On February 19th Fumika and a few others from the cast were on hand for a press conference promoting the film and what a knockout she was at the event!!!! No decent trailer for the film is out yet but have an even better view after the pics which is from a Big Comic Spirits photo shoot from a year ago.
