Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: The 'Mai Shiraishi post' #30....
It's been exactly five weeks since the last Mai post and that has to be the longest gap ever between them, seems the past few years it's never been more than five days between posts. Mai has been much more quiet than usual since the beginning of December, perhaps she's been taking some well deserved breaks and the only Nogi activities in that stretch have been a few TV appearances on music shows.
Wonder if Mai is feeling a hit upstaged with all of the recent graduations, there's been three in the past three months and the floodgates for first generation members leaving is about to be thrown wide open. That's okay in a way, personally haven't been following Nogi as closely as I once did as their songs have gone so far downhill and to be honest their recent ones put me to sleep. Mai is probably at the point where Nogi needs her much more than she needs the group, would be very surprised if she was a member at this point next year but did say the same thing a year ago.
Mai's "Passport" photobook that came out 359 days ago passed the 250,000 copies sold mark two weeks ago but for the first time it didn't make Oricon's top ten list this week. Last week between Keya and Nogi seven members had a book in the top ten, this week there's just two.
Been too quiet of a period for Mai lately so for today just have three recent mag spreads though they do total up to be 36 pics, no other new CM's or events to post about. Mai has been an exclusive model for Ray since 2014 and has fairly big spreads in all of their monthly issues, these are for March.
That was a fine set of pics but the other two are more than superb. Mai often graces a mag cover as that's one way to increase sales, here she is doing that for the January 5th edition of Friday.
For the final set Mai graces another cover which is for the February 15th issue of Pen which seems to be a newish magazine and she really looks oki doki in these pics. Didn't think there were any new videos but Mai and Nogi do have a new set of them for the employment agency Baitoru, you can view a behind the scenes video of the CM's after the pics.
