Nagi Inoue: Her captivating and irresistible fifth post!!!!
That second picture above was so close to being my #1 for last year and it just may end up being number one in the end run but don't so many others from her photobook also deserve that honor? Sure you've read me moaning often about how difficult it is these days doing posts for current J-Pop Idols, wonder why as doing them for graduated Idols has been the complete opposite. But think Nagi may be the exception, she's had five posts in 7 1/2 months which would equal about eight for a year and I could live with that pace. Nagi is a busy young woman and does many different activities which should make it easier to have future posts for her. She's a model, hosts a radio show and is appearing in a current Taiga drama plus appears at those large fashion shows so she just may be the final Nogi member I ever post about and it wouldn't surprise me if she became the group's fourth captain after the current one graduates.
EDIT: Didn't realize until now that Minami announced her graduation three weeks ago and can't believe I missed that! She's one of my all time favorite Nogi members and her graduation concert will be at the end of May so let me get to work on a post for her. It is a bit overdue for her to leave Nogi as Minami is 27 in age and not many others have stuck around for so long. Mai Shinuchi holds the record for being the oldest member, she left the group two weeks after she hit the age of thirty on January 22, 2022.
I also think the world of that first photo right above, it could be my second favorite from the book and are there any superlatives left to describe it? Nagi may get some training in leading and organizing if she does get the honor to be Nogi's fourth captain as she's been selected to be the chairman for this year's Tokyo Idol Festival, that's become such a massive event and bet 250+ groups must perform at it. Not just up and coming groups but big name ones appear such as Nogi, AKB, SKE, Morning Musume and many others. In a post done about a week ago mentioned Nagi's name and how she will be the youngest woman I ever post about. In February 17th she hit the age of 21, the pic above is from last year's birthday. So forget about age rules as the new and final one will be if anyone was born before February 21, 2005 they would be eligible to be introduced, if they were born after that you'll never hear their name mentioned here. So there's another positive for Nagi is she may be the first woman here to have a rule named after her!
The post for Nagi's first photobook was done on August 16th, exactly seven months ago to the day. That book is so amazing and just may be my top one of all time, it's only been out for eleven months but can't wait for her second and is it possible to top that first book? Need to do some investigating but think the post for that book is on the verge of a few records and it's so perfect it deserves to hold a few of them. It's currently in that section on the right for being one of the most viewed posts of the past thirty days, it's been in that section for 6 1/2 months! Am sure that's a record and the one I need to check on is if it could be on pace to set the record for most views in a year. It's currently at 7,480 views or about 1,070 a month so at that pace it may approach 13,000 by August 16th. Would think 13,000 views in a year for a post would shatter whatever the previous record was and the photobook is quite deserving of so many views.... how I wish there was a DVD of the photo shoot!!!! EDIT#2: Did some searching and found a promo video for the book which I didn't know existed and it's at the end of the post.
That's it for the breathtaking pictures but to me the seventy or so new photos today are also terrific and at least they won't send your imagination into hyperdrive! Have a little bit of many things and just about all of the pictures have come out since February 1st such as this batch below from Nogi's group blog. The first few are from Saturday's TGC show while the last was from Nagi's subdued February 17th birthday, members these days post so fewer photos than they did a decade ago.
No new Nogi group cards have come out yet for 2026 and that's okay as when some do come out they'll be the beginning of her next post. Nagi hosts the first week of the month for the 'School of Lock' radio show, another Nogi member does week two. In January she celebrated two years as a host and below are pictures from the last week's shows which are broadcast on Tokyo FM, not sure why but Nagi added in some older photos from last year and think because they hadn't been posted at the show's site.
There's just as many magazines as there's ever been but beginning about four years ago the amount of mag spreads for 95% of my favorites has really decreased and still not sure why. You wouldn't think they would decrease for the members of such a popular group such as Nogi but they have, Nagi appears in a fair amount of magazines but don't have a new spread featuring her today. So let's have an encore viewing of this one that was in her previous post and is from the January 22nd issue of Young Magazine, no gravure pics but to me this is one fabulous spread and I say bring more of these on!
On Saturday, March 14th, Nagi was at the Spring 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that was held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo. She usually appears at these large fashion shows and think there's two more coming up, one for TGC and the other for 'Girls Award. A few articles said this was the first time Nagi has appeared at one of these shows but that's wrong as I've seen her at many other 'Tokyo Girl Collection' shows but this may have been her first Spring show.
Will end off with this super duper set of new modeling pictures from the Non-no site, Nagi has been with them since April 2024 and not many women I post about can top the modeling pics she's had with them the past year!!!! Searched for a decent video to end the post off with but had no luck and was about to give up. But not quitting paid off as I found a promo video for Nagi's "Monologue" photobook and the location of it was Italy, there's no sound in the video but who cares.....
