Risa Watanabe: Yet another but overdue post in the .... '𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕' series....

 

 That top photo has led off more posts than any other picture save for one and that also happens to be from an ex-Keya gal! That was from Risa's first photobook that came out close to seven years ago, three weeks before the book's release there hadn't been any gravure pics. But then that photo came out to promote the book and that pic sent my heart beating to the Nth degree, it still does! That was such a fabulous book and what a shame there will never ben another, what's more of a shame is the fact we may never see Risa again which just may be the worst thing that's ever happened to such a huge favorite since I began this blog. Actually Risa 😍 is more than just a huge fave as she's still my #1 woman of all time and has been for over five years but when the third 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list is done in August she'll have to relinquish her crown....

 

 As some may know Risa appears to have retired from show biz and not a word has been heard from her since late 2024, she had a final batch of Non-no modeling pics a month later. A few other women who I've posted about have retired but all had made an announcement on why and that never happened with Risa, fifteen months after her 'retirement' don't think there's been one sighting of her. I can recall a few times on Keya's variety show and also in an interview Risa saying how shy she was and because of that tended to stay out of the limelight and did so many activities by herself. That could be the main reason why she slipped away so quietly and do know many of her fans miss Risa so much, that definitely includes me! But Risa 😍 has never left my mind for she's still my all time #1 woman and will be until a new Queen is anointed on that upcoming list. However Risa will still have a very high position on the list, I'm thinking in the third position and that would be so impressive as by that time(September) it'll be 21 months since her premature and hopefully not permanent retirement.

 From the period of the Summer of 2018 until the Autumn of 2024 no J-Pop Idol had more posts than Risa so would think no woman can top how many posts she had in that period of time. Which means there aren't many things I've missed from that stretch of time but that's not going to stop me from making these revival posts a steady series, say one every three months? Know there will be one around July 27th as that's the date Risa celebrates her birthday, this year she'll be hitting the age of 28. Then will have one about six weeks later for her position on the All Time Faves list and will try to have at least one more this year. I truly miss Risa 😍 so much and it does bum me out when such a massive favorite disappears but that doesn't mean they have to be forgotten about and I'll keep the memory of her alive until I hang up my Blogging uniform....

 At one time Risa used to be popular here but that faded after 2021. Since December 2022 she's had only one post reach a thousand views and that was for her graduation photobook, the above picture is from it. Perhaps a lack of new gravure photos was a reason and that wouldn't be the first time here a woman's popularity has fallen because of lack of gravure photos. But it's never bothered me at all and even if Risa didn't have any gravure pics after her first photobook I could have lived with that and she still would have been my all time #1 woman! Because of her posts receiving so few views bet many reading this post have never seen these older photos yet have over thirty that had never been posted before!  I won't stop the pair from fighting over me and how could I lose???? Who would have thought five or more years ago that unbeatable duo would probably end up in the second and third positions on the 2026 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time list?! Plus who would have thought way back then who the number one would end up being?? For this revival or keeping her spirit alive(!) posts will have a little bit of many things, to me these may end up being the top posts for this year! The Spring 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show will be held this Saturday, a few women I post about will be there so expect to see some photos from it in their next posts. For seven years rarely did a huge fashion show take place without Risa in attendance but her last one to date and perhaps ever was in October 2024. At those fashion shows very few ever topped the way Risa looked at them so that's another thing I miss quite a bit, the pics below are from the April 25, 2019 TGC show.

 It being Spring how about some older Keya cards for the season, sure they've been posted before. But what hasn't been are the bottom eight cards which are for the Hustle Press U18 series and also some of their Haaaan cards.

 Risa never opened her IG page until after leaving Keya in May 2022, even then she never posted many. Some of the below photos from her IG page have been posted and doesn't she tend to give off kind of a Shyish vibe? The top two pics are from her first ever fan club event while the eight after that hadn't been posted before and are from a Spring 2023 Aoki photo shoot. They're a clothing company and Risa did do some modeling for them but her pics for company's 2023 Spring collection was a one time deal.

 One site/magazine Risa did model a long time for was Non-no, she first started for them exactly nine years ago in March 2017! Below are photos from the event where she was introduced as a model and a dozen of the pics are brand new for here, sure you know two other faces.

 Risa first appeared in an April 2017 issue of Non-no and her modeling pics over the next eight years were only topped by one other woman that I post about. The first eight pics below were her final ones for the magazine, the others are from 2024 and all get a grade of an A++++ from me!

 Have been able to find photos for today that hadn't been posted before and sure I'll be able to find more for future posts. But do know that I've never missed any magazine spreads and for a while Risa appeared in so many of them. Let's go way back in time, a little over seven years for this spread from the February 2019 edition of +20 Sweet and they used to have such terrific spreads for Idols.

 This will wrap up this post and need to save things for future posts, hope Risa is reading this and sees that she still has some massive fans out here. Sure the odds are slim to none she is and still wonder at times has anyone I've posted about visited this blog? Will end off with some dazzling Risa photos, she's not #1 in any category but have often said how overall Risa 😍 is the most attractive woman I've posted about but it's more than that which has made her my number one woman.
