Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Yui Kobayashi... Miku Tanaka... Nagi Inoue....Maria Makino.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Mai Shinuchi: Just because I.... 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚, 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚, 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒂 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒓.... edition #𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵!
In the post below this one was musing how too many posts in a short amount of time isn't a positive regardless of how much we all like that woman. Being consistent as far as posts go is a positive and close to being #1 in that category over the last 65 months/5+ years has been Mai and doing solo posts for her before 2021 was just so difficult. In that 65 months she's had 48 posts or three every four months which averages out to nine a year. That's a pace I wish all could have here but it'll never happen with enough of my favorites. One more post and for the sixth consecutive year Mai will qualify for the fave's list, the record is nine which has been going on for someone since 2018. Then there's a trio who have seven straight years on the list so only five others have ever had a longer streak. That post title is right on the money as I had such an urge to do this post yesterday but somehow held off satisfying that craving until now....
Once July comes around will be slowing down on doing posts for those who will make the 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list. The posts for the positions are nothing out of the ordinary but do try to make them large so any newish photos and whatever try to keep for those list posts. On the list done four years ago Mai was in the twelfth spot but she's moved up a few positions since then and though the last year hasn't been too busy she's had a solid career since leaving Nogi in February 2022. It's been a slower stretch for Mai this year but in her last post did have many pics from a recent event and we need her to start attending more of those. So there aren't a lot of recent things for today but must have twenty new photos plus about 35 older ones that had never been posted plus encores of some golden oldies. Mai's posts since 2022 have drawn a decent amount of views but the posts before that weren't all that popular so many older things should be brand new for those reading this.
I've been saying for over five years no woman in history has better legs than Mai 😍 and it's even truer these days. Plus have been gushing about for years how Mai would be the number one woman by a mile for who I would choose to be a girlfriend, that too is much truer these days!!!! Have a little bit of a lot of things and usually for ex-Idols have older monthly cards from the group they were in. But for today will do something different as this batch of Mai cards hadn't been posted before and they're Nogi Summer concert cards for the years 2014-17. What's nice about having many years is that you can see how a woman has changed, Mai doesn't look too different since around 2018 but she's certainly changed from the way she looked in these cards.
Have some brand new photos here which are from Mai's IG page though the ones from her radio show she posts at her fan club site. The last pic is for an upcoming party for the members which will be on June 27th, those clubs for ex-Idols have become much more common and popular the last few years. The first three pics were in her last post but are so darn good they deserved to be seen again, especially the first photo which is one of my favorites for this year! You can also see that Mai and some other Nogi graduates were at Minami's farewell concert and a pair were hard for me to recognize. Also check out the ex-Hina gal who Mai visited on her radio show.
Maybe I just don't notice it but seems the last few years you don't see as many current J-Pop Idols throw out the first pitch at a Baseball game. Mai has had that honor once which was way back on September 8, 2018 at a Seibu Lions vs. Chiba Lotte Marines game that took place at the Metlife Dome which is now called the Belluna Dome and is located in Tokorozawa, Saitama. Mai hails from Saitama and so doesn't my #1 of all time who is Yui plus the number one on the 2018 All Time list Saki N. also comes from there so there must be something special in the water!!!! Have posted some photos from the event but most of the ones below are new for here and after them is a video of the pitch.... well, pitch may not be the correct word as it was one of the worst throws I've ever seen(!) and it's a good thing Mai had a day job back then....
I've been moaning for so long that we need to see some clothing line or site sign Mai to model their OL attire and it's been about a decade since she last worked at the Sony office. Below are some fabulous modeling phots from the Oggi site that came out in late 2019, early 2020.
Been going a bit overboard with making posts massive lately so let me end off here and save some things just in case there is a post in July. Mai 😍 has released four calendars since 2022 and for the first three she had some terrific spreads for the Big Comic Spirits to promote them. But not for her 2026 calendar and in her last post had two of those spreads for the years 2023 and 2025. But didn't have the middle year so let's have that spread for the finale and it's dated for December 10, 2023. Shame there was no video from the photo shoot and how about those last pics of Mai.... wowowowow!!!!
