Aya Ueto: Juunen Saki mo Kimi ni Koishite screenshots #1 and short synopsis

From 2010 comes this short drama series of Aya's, Juunen Saki mo Kimi ni Koishite aka I'll Still Love You 10 Years From Now, will give just a short breakdown of it as it was only 6 episodes plus it was a very simple story though may not sound it.

Rika's(Aya) future husband Hiroshi comes back from 10 years in the future to try to stop Rika from ever meeting him and if that's not possible to try to get her not to fall in love with him. When the series started off the two had not met yet but when Rika was on an assignment, she worked as a book editor/agent for a publishing company, they happened to meet in a park when Hiroshi who was a scientist was doing an experiment for some children from a local school. Neither was skilled at the art of love or dating but for some reason hit it off at that first meeting, things were a bit slow at first between them but eventually they ended up falling for each other which is what the future Hiroshi came back to stop, he failed but did keep on trying to break the two up, he came close a few times but never was quite able to do it.

The reason he came from the future to prevent the marraige as 10 years from then they were about to get a divorce, both had naturally changed as persons in that time as Rika was no longer working due to his work which left her depressed and lonely. What good that came out of Hiroshi going into the past is that we think he learned some of the errors that he or they made over that 10 year stretch, when the story concludes it appears as though the 2 of them are not going to get a divorce but try to works things out, we're not sure of how it ends up as the series ends there but the impression was left for us that once again they were a happy couple.

Sure there was a bit more to the story but not all that much, as mentioned it was only 6 episodes long so they had to rush a tad through the story which actually seems to have worked, so real down time or filler like too many dramas. Wouldn't give this a big recommendation but it was a pleasant enough show, not as far fetched as it seems with someone coming back from 10 years in the future, if you like Aya or light hearted romantic dramas that would say this would be right up your alley, at only 6 episodes you're not giving up too much time for it. As far as Aya's dramas go prefer Hotelier, Attack No. 1, Attention Please and Shimokita Sundays more but you really can't go wring with this, Aya looks great and the story is interesting enough, for sure a must watch then if you're a fan of hers, would rate it a 7.5/10.
Here's the info for the show plus a few more shots of Aya from it, check out the next post for a lot more pics of her from the drama.
