Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Masami Nagasawa turns 二十五才 today: A look through the years #3

Next post we look at Masami's dramas over the years but here let's take a brief look at her many movies, not all can be considered classics but what they tend to be are enjoyable watches, especially the ones she was in as a teen which usually were the kind where the underdog came out winning at the end. First 2 movies here I'm currently viewing so expect a few posts with a short review and a mega amount of Masami pics from them coming up shortly.

Rough from 2006, another one of those underdog movies, least so far it's like that.

From 2011 these are from Gaku also known as Peak.

Also from 2011 comes Moteki, this is the film she won many awards for best supporting actress though it was a lead role and which was her 'comeback' role.

Sono toki wa kare ni yoroshiku aka Say Hello for me from 2007.

Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S from 2003, Masami and Chihiro Otsuka reprised the roles of the Peanuts characters from the 1960's Mothra movies.

Cobalt Blue from 2009, not a fave film of mine, Masami and the cast were good but just such a slow, boring story.

We'll wrap it up with this one, never realized how many films of Masami's I've viewed until this post, to end off another one from 2009 and a solid movie too, Magare Spoon.
