Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

"Assassination Classroom" movie screenshots

One of my reasons for watching this film was that Mirei was in it though if you blinked your eyes then she wouldn't have been seen. She first appeared at about the 50 minute mark but only for about twenty seconds. Her other appearance was at the very end of the film, she's Class 3-E's previous teacher but now seems to have been transformed into something like the creature Koro. From that ending it looks as though her role in the sequel will be much bigger and hope that's not wishful thinking again.
One person who I'm planning to do more investigating on is Maika Yamamoto who played Kaeda in the film and she had the biggest female part in the movie. She's been around a while but is still a bit young, not too young though as she turned 18 last year so she's old enough for some posts here. So be expecting a few posts on her and would think that'll happen this week, next up on my never ending 'to watch' list is her 2013 drama "49".
The review in the above post was one of the longer ones I've ever done, perhaps my longest one ever. Even so bet I left out some things which happened as didn't want to make that review 10,000 words as so many things happened in the film. But if you view all the screenshots between these two posts would think you'd be able to follow along with the story very well, it was a simple story but there was just so much to it.
Kind of a strange dimension too for the film, usually a movie screenshot is 1280 X 720, 800 X 450 or something along those lines. This one though had a dimension of 1280 X 528, you can adjust the screen watching it but it's just a heads up if you think the screenshots look a bit odd.
