Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Juice=Juice: "Jidanda Dance" single promo event pics and video
Always have liked how Hello Project groups do these mini lives to promote their singles, of course the group has also performed on a few music shows. Playing in front of a smaller crowd seems to be more of down to Earth thing to do as most J-Pop groups don't get close enough to their fans.
This is Juice=Juice's 12th single, ninth for a major label. All of their singles make the top five but like most H!P groups the sales fall off quite a bit after the first week, to me these gals deserve a huge seller more than any other group around. This is the second post for the single, will have at least one more with some cards, the videos for the two songs and a few other things. The B-side to the single is "Feel Kanjiru yo", do wish they had more than two songs in their singles.
Juice=Juice will be starting a nationwide tour in Saitama on April 30th. Saitama is also where C-ute will be holding their final performance on June 12th, JJ is one of the special guests who will be performing. Good for them as they are C-ute fans and they may also take over their mantle as my fave J-Pop group, musically that is.
In case you don't know all of the members names from left to right on that above pic is Sayuki, Akari, Karin, Yuka and Tomoko. Have to presume that's juice they're drinking, three are old enough to drink alcohol but Akari and Karin haven't hit twenty yet. Just occurred to me again that wouldn't promoting juice products be an obvious thing for the group to do?
On to the event which took place on April 25th, the single was released today, at Tower Records in Shinjuku. If I recall correctly think the group has done most of their single release events at the store. Plenty of pics here from yesterday's mini concert, will have more in the next post which should be very soon and after these pics there's a video of the event.
