Hono Tamura: Her highly anticipated and overdue twelfth post....

 

 Have often mentioned what some of my all time favorite photos are, that first one above of Hono's is one of them and definitely deserves to be in some Hall of Fame! Didn't check but this has to be the first time in about two years there's been back to back posts for a current Keya member and wish that didn't happen. C-ute was my favorite active J-Pop group up until they disbanded in June 2017, Nogi wasn't far behind and was my top group from mid-2017 until 2020. But then Keya(Sakura) overtook them and they had so many of these kinds of posts for the next four years. But sadly all of my top first generation members had graduated by early 2024 plus the 2G gals had to step back a bit to let the newbies have the limelight which has also happened to the other two '46' groups. So because of that the posts for my fave 2G gals dropped so much beginning two years ago but I still follow them, this is the third post in the past month for an active member and should be able to do 2-3 a month until at least January.

 After I did the post below this one yesterday for Rena began to work on this post and to my dismay quickly discovered that on September 14th Hono announced her graduation! To make matters worse a week before Keya's captain Rina also did that and will have a post for her soon. There's been so many graduations over the years so they don't sadden me like they once did and someone such as Hono could have a successful solo career if she wants to work hard at it. She and her fellow second generation mates have been with Keya for almost a decade, that join date was December 2018. Hono said she would be leaving after all the promotional work for the group's upcoming single are done which means appearing on music shows, doing interviews and being at handshake events. That would mean about two months from now so by that time Hono will have been a Keya member for ten years. In yesterday's post did say how Keya has been so stable over the last two years but most members are now 25+ in age so next year may see even more of an exodus of members leaving. In 2 1/2 weeks Hono will be celebrating her 28th birthday so her leaving had to be expected, what would please fans to no end is a third photobook and many of these top pics are from her first book.

 It's hard to believe that this is only Hono's twelfth solo post, she's also had quite a few photos in group posts but I don't do those these days. Over the years Hono has been busy but to me it's always seemed she could have done more which is why I said above she could have a successful solo career if she wanted to work at it. Keya's graduates have only had so-so solo careers, a few have been consistently busy but I've only been able to do posts for one member on a steady basis but would love to do more. Hono does have quite an attractive face so she'll probably keep modeling but she needs to work with more sites or magazines. One activity she'd be a superstar at is doing gravure modeling and even doing that just part time would keep her in the public's eyes, one ex-Keya member did that for a while and wonder where she's disappeared to?

 This is Hono's first regular post since the beginning of 2025 and will admit could have done a few of them since then. But not being as busy as others as meant Hono has slipped my mind way too often though she also hasn't been nearly as busy as other J-Pop Idols. But if I roll up my sleeves and work on them bet I can do 3-4 more posts for Hono before the end of the year that features things from the past sixteen months. October 21st is the date for her 28th birthday so a week after could be a good time for her next post, in that will have more graduation info and it should be just as terrific as this post. That date is two days before my all time #1 woman Yui 😍 hits the age of 27 and though Hono became a Keya member three years after Yui she's a year older, kind of surprising there pair didn't have more photos with just the two of them.

 First up is this batch of superb newish photos from Hono's IG page, she also posts them at Keya's 'Diary' blog. She has some fabulous photos but not enough of her alone, those close-to-perfect first three pics are from a recent event and there will be plenty more later on in the post.

 In that previous post moaned about the lack of new Keya cards for this year and have been saying that about most groups. Below are Hono's for this year but the final five are from the end of 2025, the quantity of cards may be down but the quality of them remain sky high!

 For at least five years Hono has done quite a bit of fashion modeling so you'd think she would also appear in many magazines which hasn't happened and wonder why, her choice? Don't have any new mag spreads for today and there hasn't been any for a while so let's go back almost two years for this set which is from the November 13, 2024 issue of Weekly Shonen. A time consuming project would be to figure out how many issues of them a '46' member has been their cover girl since 2018, I'd say well over a hundred times!

 Hono has been a model for the Voce site/magazine since November 2023 and the batch below are ones from their site which were posted earlier this year. A few months back Miku from Hina became a model for them, she and Hono have many photos together so a few months from now will gather all of them and have them in one post.

 Hono regularly appears at those large fashion shows, she always looks to ultra fabulous at them and as far as Idols go can only think of two that outshine her at those shows over the last six years. Last Saturday, which was September 26th, Hono was at the Autumn 'Girls Award' show that was held at the Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba and she took her stroll on the An Mille stage.

 This second to last batch of photos was from September 19th and the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that took place at the Yokohama Arena, Hono took appeared on the Darich stage. This set of photos are my top ones of the year from a fashion show and can't think of adjectives good enough to describe how ultra sultry yet adorable Hono looked, WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!

 Final segment for today and though Hono has just a dozen solo posts she's by far the most popular member of Keya and Hina who I've done posts for. Her first photobook was released in August 2021 and to say it's been popular is such an understatement as it has close to 16,000 views and deserved every one of them! Hono's second book "Tonari no Seki ni Naritai" came out in November 2024, both books are scorching to the Nth degree so it's almost impossible to say which is better! The post for Hono's second book doesn't have nearly as many views which makes sense, if you've never seen the book have the link to it and the pictures below are from it. After the photos is a neat video which I had never seen and found it quite enjoyable, it helped that it's subbed in English. It's from last December and features Hono with her other 2G mates going out to a BBQ, it's at the Keya YT channel and she has some solo videos there such as of her cooking and there should be a video for her graduation.
