Maria Makino: Sigh, there's no woman who I have missed doing posts for this year, sigh again....

 

 That title is only half true as this is her fifth post in twelve months but it sure feels like five in twelve years! There are some younger women who I do like immensely, of the ones less than 25 in age would place Maria as my #1 😍 but she's not too young as in a little over two months she will be hitting the age of 24. Can't explain why we haven't seen more of Maria over the past year as I've always thought she could be Morning Musume's most popular member. Perhaps because of that other MM gals have had more exposure to increase their popularity plus it hasn't been as busy of a year for the group as they will end up having released just one single for 2024.

 So while this has not been too busy of a stretch for her and the group do have close to 55 new photos for today and I would be surprised if she didn't have 2-3 more of these posts over the next three months. Did mention that Maria will be hitting the age of 24 soon, that will be taking place on February 2nd. For the longest time there was an unwritten rule that Hello Project members had to graduate by the time they hit 25 but that's no longer the case. Three MM members have passed that age in the last two years and so didn't a Juice=Juice gal so hope that means Maria will be sticking around for at least two more years and becomes busier. I have always liked the music and members of the Hello Project groups more than the ones from the '46/48' groups but sadly most of the time when a H!P member leaves you seldom hear much about them.

 Gulp, in all honesty if I had to pick a woman who I post about with the most perfect figure guess who would win(!), WOW!!!! Let's get to the newish things and first off are these promo pics for the January issue of UTB and will be ending off the post with a different spread from the magazine. Maria appears in that mag more than any other one and also is usually the cover girl, as you can see she will have that honor again with two of her MM mates.

 Have some terrific photos from the Morning Musume Ameblo blog which she also posts to her IG page. That top pic is the only one so far but know many more will be coming out soon. What I am talking about is that on her 24th birthday, February 2nd, Maria will be releasing her tenth photobook! In a shocker 2024 was the first time in eight years she didn't have a book and why was that? Many of the below pics are from the "Love It" variety show where she has a weekly segment.

 Keep vowing to do group posts for Morning Musume but it rarely works out, one huge reason is that I often forget! But will try to have one next month for on November 27th the group will be releasing their 17th album "Professionals" so if there's some events and mag spreads promoting it will do a group post. The first two pics below are the covers, the other two are newish ones of the group and following the quartet is a video that's promoting the album. There's a short snippet for each song plus you can see the entire track list, as with most albums it's a combo of older singles and new songs.

 

 Maria has done quite a bit of modeling over the years but these days isn't a FT model with any site. But like many Idols these days she will do a photo shoot or two for a site such as for the Anan magazine, below are some pics from their site that came out in July.

 What a slow year it was for Maria as far as magazine spreads go. Seemed she had at least one a month from 2020 until early 2023 and for this year she's only had two of them! That should be changing because of her upcoming photobook and this spread from the August issue of Bessatsu Young Champion has been Maria's last spread to date, had it in her June post which was her final one until now.

 Did say earlier that Maria appears in the UTB magazine more than any other one. Will end off with a missed spread from last December from the magazine and this set of pics was too perfect not to have here, we need more superlatives to describe her!!!! Am going to skip having a video, it's not that Maria doesn't have many dazzling ones on YT but how I hate that site as searching as become so slow and it truly could take over twenty minutes or more to find the video you want. 😈
