Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Akiko Yada: YSV-Web #025.... "Six Years In YSV" photobook

Still cleaning up those ancient posts that had pics linked to the Photobucket site, really no clue on how many more need to be deleted and reposted but don't think the total is all that huge. One other cleanup project is so combine some older photobook posts from over seven yeas ago. Not sure why and perhaps it was because to increase the total amount of posts but used to break down a ~120 page photobook into two or three posts. After 2017 did stop doing that and these days even if a book has 150 pages will cram it into one post. To me it makes it harder to enjoy a book when it's broken down into a few posts so will start on those older ones soon plus I bet many viewers have never seen those books before.

Most of these posts for my older favorite actresses and/or models have been very popular, can keep this unnamed series going for a while. Think this is one post that may not get a huge amount of views though the last one done for Akiko four years ago does have over 1,500 views so she must have some fans here. She is a woman I like so much, to me she is very classy and one terrific actress. "Pyrokinesis" from 2000 was one of the first Japanese movies I saw, Akiko had the lead role in that and do highly recommend it. Also worth checking out are the dramas "My Little Chef" from 2002 plus one I really enjoyed from 2014 which was a lawyer drama titled "Isharyou Bengoshi". I did recap four episodes and should have done the entire series so that is a show I need to revisit as though it was so fun do forget most of what took place. Akiko did have the lead in the "Nurse ga Konkatsu" drama that aired earlier this year. Did skim through the first two shows which also featured my #1 Nogi member and really wanted to view it but sadly it's another series that will never get subbed.

Those top four pics are not from this book and up until 2018 or so digital books were referred to as pictorials or on occasion E-Books. Said this may not be a popular post for Akiko was a woman who never did many gravure photos and to me there's zero wrong with that, in my eyes she looks so super duper in her slightly classy/conservative style. Do have another pair of older pictorials to post but will wait another month for Akiko's next post, will do it around December 23rd as that's when she'll hit the age of 45! Wow, sounds old but when I started this blog to myself thought 35 sounded old!!!! Not much more to say about Akiko who stands 164 in height and hails from Kawasaki, next year she will be celebrating her 30th anniversary as an actress. This one time regular pictorial series YSV-Web is no longer around, many of these from before 2015 have sadly suffered the same fate and what a shame for to me these older sets are usually better than current digital books. This pictorial came out in 2005, Akiko had three previous sets with the site so it was celebrating those and also many new photos are in this set. There's 103 of them in total, the first 59 pics are the new photos while the last 44 are outtake pics from those first three books. Know most prefer viewing scantly clad pics of women but to me these kinds of sets are needed to break up the monotony and if you ask me Akiko looks so ultra super duper in these photos....
