Moemi Katayama: An extremely overdue.... 'Blast from the Past' post....

 

 There's a few similarities between Moemi and the woman in the next post, one is that both celebrated a birthday in the first week of October. Another is that both defy the laws of Physics as the pair make the word scorching a bit passe, sure you know what I mean! One more thing(s) is that besides doing gravure modeling both graduated from college which seems to very common with gravure models, modeling pays for their schooling! Perhaps the biggest reason, well, biggest may be for a more obvious asset, is that both are immensely popular here. But in the case of Moemi wonder if that popularity is a thing of the past as this is her first post in over five years! She had eight from 2017-20 and think the reason I stopped doing posts is that I thought Moemi had retired from gravure modeling but still followed her career slightly as she was one of my first ever favorite gravure models. She'd still be way up there as far as being a favorite goes and never have thought until now of having a list of my all time gravure models.

 Those eight prior posts have an average of over 3,500 views and that is extremely high though the woman in the next post may be a bit more popular with you viewers. So because of zero posts for Moemi since 2020 bet most viewers forgot about her and any newbies never bothered to search for her or more likely had never heard of her! Which is understandable because Moemi just hit the age of 35 so sure many aren't aware of her and was she such a popular gravure model up until 2020! I really thought she had retired from modeling and was concentrating on her acting career which was partially true. But Moemi did release a photobook in 2022 and two digital ones towards the end of last year, will have one of those for today. Plus will have another post coming up for the other book and while Moemi will never have as much exposure as she once did it is nice when I can do a post or two for an old time fave when I thought it would never happen again! It did shock me that Moemi did hit the age of 35 on October 1st but it shouldn't be shocking as she became a gravure model eleven years ago so had a late start to gravure modeling as she was 24 in age.

 While attending Reitaku University Moemi started acting and after graduating in 2012 appeared in quite a few stage plays the next few years, at the end of 2014 was when she had her first ever gravure spread. Moemi still appears in stage plays but not as many, these days she's in so many dramas but mainly doing guest roles. But when you do twenty of them a year that'll easily pay the bills plus she appears so often on variety shows and has been in about fifteen movies. So all in all Moemi has been one busy woman the past fourteen years but as you can see in these photos there is one(two?) huge reason(s) she became so popular. But Moemi also appears to be such a likable woman and seems to have her head on straight versus those a decade younger, hope you know what I'm talking about. This won't be a large post but there will be about seventy new pics for here and wanted to save a few for another post, hoping these sizzling pics will make you want to check out her older posts.... as you can see below and in many other photos Moemi doesn't leave much to our imagination! She did have one semi-nude photobook in 2017 and sadly can't post those pics which are truly heart attack inducing....

 I do have a fairly large folder of Moemi's photos but will confess with no new ones added to it until recently often zoomed right by it. In such an odd twist what made me think of reviving her for 2-3 posts is that it's October and time for horror flicks! That may sound odd to you but about a month ago got the two "Corpse Prison" movies which came out in 2017. Moemi had the lead role in both and was planning on watching them this month, actually am thinking about tonight! For both are only 75 minutes each and other horror fans seemed to think both were quite good if you're into slasher films. I prefer the more creepy, eerie, and suspenseful movies but nothing wrong with gore now and again. Will do three posts this month for my horror movie watches so will mention those films again and did skim through the first for the below screenshots.

 There's one screenshot above of Moemi dressed a bit scantly but she never did doff all, she did do that in her 2018 film "Fumiko's Legs". One thing Moemi does a horrible at is posting photos to her IG page and as a matter of fact have the impression she doesn't add new ones in these days so the below are slightly older ones.

 How can one not love a fan of Godzilla?!!!! Will have a pair of older magazine spreads for today with the first being of Moemi gracing the cover of the November 3, 2022 issue of Weekly Jitsuwa. It was promoting Moemi's final gravure DVD which was titled "Look at me again- Re:Start", don't think anyone needs any prodding to look at her again!!!!

 No cover for Moemi's second spread which is from the July 12, 2021 edition of WPB, the magazine did publish today's digital book but there was no spread for it. This was promoting a book and it was to be Moemi's last one for over three years which is why I figured she had retired from gravure modeling.

 For the finale have Moemi's WPB digital book that was released exactly a year ago and contains 46 hotter than the Sun pics! The photo shoot probably took place a month or two before Moemi's 34th birthday and she looks as fabulous as ever.... perhaps better than ever! If your heart can take it(!) after the pics is a video from the photo shoot.... get your cold shower warmed up....
