Two days ago said I was studying up for four exams and may not do any posting this weekend. But as you can see was able to squeeze this one in as it was already to go and am a bit ahead of myself as I was able to take three of those online tests and passed them all! However the fourth is the toughest so may need to take tomorrow off for some studying but it's not set in stone that you won't be hearing from me tomorrow....
For the most part have completed that cleanup project for older photobooks, there can't be more than two others and one is another Nogi book. This book was released on August 5, 2016 and I did the post for it in early 2017 but just deleted those posts. Like ost others from back then I cut this book in half for two posts and have noticed that often meant a huge decrease in views for the books and putting both halves together into one post has been a part of the cleanup project. The original post for the book received 3,482 views and the total should have been twice as high, I also put the pictures into a better order. Leading off this post with the first photo is Misa, for so long that was in my top ten for all time favorite photos and had also been my #1 Nogi pic!!!! Well, times change and others have passed that pic but it's still one of my all time faves and I miss members such as Misa. That second pic is one I had forgotten all about and doesn't Mai 😍 look so snazzy in that pic? She certainly does and at the time was 24 in age, on January 22nd she will be celebrating her 34th birthday(!) so should have a post for her shortly after the celebration.
None of the above eight pics are from the photobook but are of some members who I have been missing. Such as Miria and she began her solo career off somewhat well but haven't heard much from her the past year or so. Then of course there's Nanami and I try to mention her whenever possible for had she not graduated in February 2017 she may have ended up as my all time #1 woman! Rounding out the trio is Yuuri, wow did I have such a crush on her 😍 and still think she's Nogi's most underrated 'hottest member', she was supposed to release her second photobook last year and wonder why it never happened? On to the "1jikan Okure no I love you" book which translates over to One Hour Late, I Love You and it wouldn't have bothered me if a few members were a week late visiting me, gulp! Just mentioned a few members but I do miss so many of them, I started following Nogi very early in their career and they were my top group for a while. I don't live in the past but will admit I'm a bit bummed out that era from a decade is long gone and sadly will never be repeated again.... least for me, sigh....
When this book came out in August 2016 Nogi was very popular but not at the level they were about to hit starting the next year. That's when their photobooks became much more revealing and would often sell in the excess of 200,000 copies, this group book sold about 85,000. At the time Nogi had 35 members from the first two generations, hadn't thought of it until now but bet this book was a final tribute to the original members before the 3G gals came aboard. The book had 135 pages and with 35 members many didn't have any solo pages but every member had a decent amount of pics with their mates. Back then it appears Asuka and Nanase were the two most popular members and you will see them more than anyone else.
