BababaBambi: Their arousing.... "Eien ni mukatte" digital group photobook....
No new photos of Mio 😍 for today but I never pass up the opportunity to include her in a post which hasn't been happening often the past year. She was BababaBambi's first member and was their unofficial captain until March 2024, after that Mio went on a hiatus due to her health and never did any activities from March until July 2024 when she announced her graduation. It's a shame Mio and the two other original members weren't invited to the group's final concert which took place on March 28th or just eleven days ago. My newest mini goal is to have a post for Mio by the end of the month and think that's possible even though there aren't many newish pictures. Mio is the reason I began to follow BababaBambi which formed in March 2020 but didn't start performing for a few months. I had 'discovered' Mio in August of the previous year and I was smitten from the first second which I keep saying in her posts. For me it's often a case of out of sight but out of mind but for Mio 😍 it's been absence makes the heart grow fonder and she's one of only two Japanese women I've ever given a perfect grade of 10/10 to!!!!
This will be the first of two group posts and though BababaBambi was never a very popular J-Pop group their posts here, both group and solo ones, did draw a high amount of views. To me the members had the top magazine spreads and digital books from 2021 until now and think a pair of members we'll continue to hear about. For today just have the book but also will give some details about the five members who all seem to be likable and they were around for almost six years which is impressive. But after a while it must have been frustrating knowing they would never be much more than a 'cult group' though that does have some advantages. The group only had two regular singles but 24 digital ones plus two mini albums which I have, both are very good though BababaBambi never had any 'signature songs'. In that next post will have their final group magazine spread, photos from their farewell March 28th concert plus I'm sure a few other things can be dug up. Will also be having at least three solo posts in the next month and BababaBambi is about to hit the one hundred post mark.
Right above were the five remaining members which is from the book and will briefly talk about the five. If you don't know the members well do recommend checking out their older posts as four of the five have a decent amount of solo posts and so doesn't one graduate who began off the post. For this mini section leading off is Usa Hiiragi and she just had a post a few days ago so won't be talking much about her today. On April 27th she'll be celebrating her 23rd birthday so will discuss what the future may hold for her then. Of all the members I think Usa has the best chance of having a successful solo career and she's the most popular BababaBambi I've done posts for.
Up second is Rui Takanashi and she too is very popular with you viewers. This October she'll be hitting the age of 29 so I wonder how much longer she'll remain in show biz? For Rui should be able to get a decent job at many companies for she graduated from Nara Women's University with a pair of degrees in Polymer Science and Linear Algebra so to me that's quite impressive and she does consider herself to be an 'Idol Otaku'.
After Mio my favorite member has been Saeko Kondo, on July 1st she'll be celebrating her 29th birthday! BababaBambi is such a short group as far as member's heights go, the above gal is 148 cm while Saeko barely tops her at 149 cm. I don't know what the future may hold for Saeko who for me seems to be the most likable member of the group. Saeko had been in a previous J-Pop group and as far as the BababaBambi members go her posts have drawn the fewest views but think if you check one out you'll be scrambling to view them all!
Rina Kannami is the member I know the least about as she joined in March of 2024 along with two other gals who left within the year. March of 2024 is when I thought BababaBambi hit their peak as they headlined a concert at Budokan and why hasn't that been released on DVD? At 161 cm Rina was the tallest of the five remaining members and will hit the age of 26 in November, before BababaBambi she had been in another J-Pop group and just found out three weeks ago she released a digital book.
Will end off this section with Miyu Kishi who at 145+ cm is the shortest woman I've ever posted about. But she packs on so much to her tiny frame and Miyu is quite popular with you viewers, she hit the age of 25 in February. Did a post back then for Miyu and will also have two more coming up soon as I do have three digital books, two are medium sized so will have those together in one post. Miyu is the other member who I think could have a successful solo career but mainly of her being a gravure model, her short height helps out for modeling but not so for acting or when she has to be around others.
On to the digital book which was released on December 8th, the above and below photos add up to be 86. The title "Eien ni Mukatte" roughly translates over to 'Now and Forever' and as mentioned this won't be the end of the posts for BababaBambi. For there will be at least three solo posts coming up soon plus another for the group, just want to wait a bit to see what the plans for some of the members will be. This is one fabulous book and as I've said no group the last five years has had better gravure photos than the BababaBambi members and there's no order to the pictures. After the pics is an older video that features the original seven members and it's a PV to their digital single "Hanabigatari" that came out in August 2020 so was one of their first ever songs.
