Akari Suda: She too wants to be known as a savior of a day though....

 

 .... wish these 'savior' posts weren't needed and I had too many women to choose from for that day's post(s). But it hasn't been that way the last two weeks and even though things have slowed down over the years October has always been the best month for posts. Thought this year would continue the trend as some of my favorites have a photobook coming out this month plus there's many who celebrate a birthday, hopefully the pace will pick up for the last two weeks of October. Now and again have mentioned how there's a new wave of gravure models or Idols who are appearing much more in magazines and have been having quite a few digital books. But as mentioned I may not post about any of them as most are too young plus I've never posted about things just for the sake of doing a post. I've been going through the recent magazines and 98% of the spreads are of gals who I'll never post about and it does get a bit irritating. Also irritating is how at times I moan about things and wish that didn't have to be but if these posts are hard to do now what's going to happen in a few years?

 By far the biggest 'Savior' when I have no posts to do over the last three years has been Akari 😍 but even this post was a struggle to do. On October 31st Akari will be hitting the age of 35 and was planning on doing a post a day later or after she held her annual fan club birthday bash. But was able to gather about 45 new photos for today from the past month plus have some oldies that have been posted before but odds are high they've never been seen before. That's because Akari's posts have received so few views over the last few years, she did see an uptick in views the second half of last year which carried over for the first few months of 2026 but sadly her posts have reverted back to being unpopular again.

 It's not hard to believe but it doesn't seem as though Akari is now up to fifteen posts for the year, she has been busy but not at the level she was the previous few years. In 2023 and 2025 Akari 😍 was my #1 Queen of the year, in the middle year she was in second place and a stretch like that has never happened nor will ever again! Akari was in the seventh position in 2022 and way back in 2018 she was also second on the fave's list so there aren't many others who can top Akari, just one woman and it's not by a wide margin. But for this year I have no clue where Akari will end up on the fave's list, I know who number one will be and also two others in the top five. So as of now have no clue where I would place Akari, it could be fourth or she could tumble all the way down to seventh which isn't too low as 22 women this year could be eligible for the list. Will do a intro post about a month from now for the countdown and except for number one this will be the hardest year for figuring out the positions everyone should be slotted in.

 Even though there's not a large amount of new things it doesn't bother me in the least as I just enjoy doing posts for Akari 😍 and there still is an excellent chance for her being #1 on the next 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list when it's done next Spring. Did say in two weeks Akari will be hitting the age of 35 but as far as the list goes there will be three and perhaps even four others who will be older than she is and should I rename this blog to 'Nao Kanzaki's Senior Center'?!!!! Let's get to some younger pictures of Akari such as these October cards for SKE that are from 2011-14. October has fewer cards than any other month for most J-Pop groups as there are often many for Halloween, will have cards and other photos in her next post for that ghoulish day....

 Akari has had only one mini magazine spread this year, sadly that's become too common for women over the age of thirty. So will go back exactly three years to 2023 and October 17th which happens to be today's date and this set from the SPA! magazine. On November 1st three years ago Akari released an essay book titled "Ganko" but there were also a few gravure photos in the book and how I'd love to see her have a digital one, why hasn't she? That book was a solid seller as it spent three weeks in the top ten for sales and she also has a new book that was just released.

 On June 30, 2022, which was four months before her SKE departure, Akari released a book titled "My Way of Finding Happiness", she's certainly brought some happiness to many lives! On October 8th a part two of the book was released, like the first book it featured mainly Akari's articles from the Chunichi Shimbun site that comes out in Sundays. The book is of Akari's life since leaving SKE almost four years ago and she's been busier than any member of the group since leaving, perhaps busier than all '48' graduates save for one HKT gal. The first photo below is from the book and the others are from a mini event held today in Nagoya, there are two more events scheduled and there is a video of the event which will be at the bottom of the post.

 Here's a batch of Akari pictures I can never get tired of gaping at which are screenshots from the DVD for Akari's second photobook "Pluie". It was a nineteen minute video which could be my all time favorite one from a photo shoot, I will post the book one of these days which is kind of revealing and at times Akari looks too alluring to believe....

 As I often do will end off with many new photos from Akari's IG page, still think her pics from that page are better than most photobooks! My favorites by far are the first few which are close to being my top pictures of the year, my imagination is running away from me once again from gaping at Akari's 😍 photos and a video for the above event is after these pics.
