Mao Sakurada: Her second mini(?) intro post....

 

 Hopefully not too small but also don't want to make her intro posts that large yet as there's not a huge amount of older or current things to post about but think there will be for 2021. Took a few weeks but viewers have been warming towards Mao and at first most newbies aren't all that popular. Her first intro post was done on January 2nd, couple days ago it moved into the top ten for most views for the past month, it's currently in the eighth spot. Have some more ultra fine Mao pics for today but don't have enough for a third post yet but that should be changing.

 Mao doesn't have one but two new digital photobooks that have just been released. Those are some pics from them above and sure you'll be seeing those pictorials soon enough. In Mao's first post gave a few bio tidbits, once again she's 158 cm in height and have noticed newer gravure models have been a bit shorter than the popular ones from 2014-19 but kind of hard to tell in the pics. Mao turned 23 back in October but to me she could pass for being five years older. Back then was when I had planned on doing her first intro post but for some reason held off, good thing as there's been so little to post about recently. Have a few pics from her IG page, there's a good amount there but not enough hottish ones....

 Mao had been attending college up until 2019 but think the main reason she quit was to pursue a career as a gravure model. She had a great jump on her career as back in 2019 she entered the yearly 'Young Magazine New Model' competition and guess that's how many mags find their models. The competition drew over 3,000 applicants and it got whittled down over a period of two months to a half dozen and Mao was among those select few. However she didn't win the grand 'Miss Magazine' prize but did win some special judge's prize. One of the six is a bit popular these days but don't know the other four. Top seven are from the June semi finals, the others are from the July 23, 2019 finals.

 Let's face it, 2020 was the worst year ever if you were a newbie actress or model. But Mao seems to have made a bit of a name for herself and did appear in seven mags which is okay as so many were doubling up their issues. So I expect(hope) that we'll be seeing her in quite a few mags this year plus hopefully at a few events or whatever, she also has those two new digital books. Have a trio or 2020 Mao spreads which will finish off the year, this first set is from the July 27th issue of WPB and to me it's her best spread to date.

 December had the usual amount of posts but it was kind of deceiving. There were sixty done but twenty were for the fave's list and some stats posts for the year. Plus when you add in drama recaps and older photobooks the total amount of posts for new activities was probably less than thirty which is lower than usual. Bring that up as this is the slowest stretch of the year for happenings, would say it lasts from mid December until mid January. So if you don't see as many posts the next 10-14 days you'll know why but do expect the second half to be so much busier.

 Nogi has a new single coming out, few faves will be having a photobook plus new dramas will be starting up soon. But a slow period does help me on occasion as I can get to some things I've put away for a rainy day, such as most of the posts for the last week. This is more than a rainy day post as I had plans to introduce Mao over two months ago and obviously that never happened. It almost didn't again for today but said it's time for her to be seen by you viewers and how about those top two pics!!!!

 Think the main reason I was stalling doing this post is that there's a good amount of Mao things but in a way not all that many. Have seven spreads from 2020 and have had six of them for a while. But not as many other things as I had hoped for so this will be one of the smaller intro posts. Will have four of those spreads for today and one other minor thing. So in Mao's next post will have those other spreads plus some terrific event pics from 2019, may wait a week or two until doing post #2.

 Whew, not a vast amount of pics but they're certainly some unbeatable ones!!!! Sure some would like to know a few tidbits about Mao and to me she looks older than she is. On October 22nd she turned 23 and right around then is when I had planned on doing this post. At 158 cm she's slightly shorter than most gravure models, she did attend college but didn't graduate. Do have some recent IG pics but will save them for her next post and instead have some older ones. Back in September Mao left her 'Production' agency and had a IG/Twitter page with them which had much better pics. They were usually from her magazine photo shoots, two pics above are and here's a few more.

 Mentioned above that there would be some event pics in that second intro post, they'll be from a 2019 Young Magazine competition. Mao has started her gravure career a bit late as she's only been at it for  a little over a year. In 2019 she made the final six for a new model tournament they had out of 3,000 applicants, more info in her next post. So because of that competition Mao's appeared in many of their mags, four to be exact and will have a pair for today with the first set being from their March 30th issue. All of the sets are from 2020 and the bottom two pics are from he photo shoot.

 Second Mao spread for Young Magazine is from their August 19th edition.

 Mao has also appeared in a pair of Cyzo issues, this set is from April and will have her September spread in intro post #2 and it was her first time being a cover girl.

 Not going in any order as far as dates go, will end off with her newest spread that's from the November 27th issue of Friday. Instead of three spreads may have four in Mao's next post, didn't realize it until today but she also appeared in the April issue of BLT. So will get it for that next post and after the pics is a short yet sweltering promo video for the mag.
