Manami Higa: Bakken Record o Koete drama synopsis

Really not going to give a lengthy or thorough enough of a review as once again had to watch a drama that's unsubbed and would think it will never be, however it is quite easy to follow and got most of the main points but too much is missed, especially some of the minor points but we still know the main reason you should watch this drama(?)!

Manami plays Haruka Kotari, she works as a dental assistant living in Sapporo and is also engaged to a world class ski jumper named Kosuke Honda, played by Seiji Fukushi and at the start of this short movie all is going quite well for the pair of them. However on a practice trip to Finland Kosuke gets into a serious accident, he's physically injured but starts to recover from that a bit quickly but however he also loses his memory, he hardly remembers how to talk and needs to be taught how to read and write again. Eventually through much rehab and especially Haruka helping out he recovers and is eventually back to almost normal, so much that he once again starts training as a ski jumper hoping to qualify for the next Olympics.

Yet tragedy strikes the pair again as at their wedding Haruka suddenly collapses and is rushed to the hospital where she has to stay for a while. We never learn what her illness was but Haruka recovered rather quickly and was back at Kosuke's side trying to support his bid to make the Olympic team. We're not sure if he did but it really looked at the end of the show that he was well on his way to fulfilling his dream and it appears as though Kosuke and Haruka are going to be living happily ever after.

Sure a bit more than that happened but watching unsubbed means there's certain things you're going to miss but that's the basic plot of the story, it was also only a bit over an hour long so it did seem a bit rushed but all in all it was a solid drama to watch and would recommend it, like I said it's still easy enough to follow. Manami just looked beyond incredible in this show and there's no doubt she was the main reason to watch this, check out the next few posts for a mega amount of screenshots of her, think you'll all agree how fantastic she looks in the show, better than ever and for her that's really saying something.
