Last of these mini reviews for this drama, have done a synopsis and looked at the first 4 episodes, once I finish episodes 5-8 will be back for another set of screenshots and recaps and then one more for the last 3 episodes.
Eisuke has had financial problems as the restaurant has only been mildly successful, he doesn't have enough to cover the payroll and ends up taking a part time job working overnight. He does eventually pay the bills but at a cost as he's just so worn down and his cooking suffers a bit because of that. But though his cooking does suffer a bit it's still better than any other restaurant around, he still can't catch up to the sales of his rival's Tokio's restaurant but more and more Eisuke is gaining a solid customer base. Each episode as I've mentioned deals with one struggle or another at the restaurant and probably will until the last show but no new problems this episode but some major ones are coming up, Tokio has challenged Eisuke one time at a cooking contest, Eisuke didn't fail but couldn't take the challenge as he served the dish he was going to give Tokio to a customer instead. Eisuke's does have a crappy personality but it's slowly getting better with each episode, he's been learning the hard way of how his unpleasant demeanor has driven away too many customers.
One reason he's improving is because is because of Chie, her fun and bubbly personality seems to have spread to Eisuke a bit though he won't admit it, the whole staff at the restaurant really like everything about her, but will she be able to get Eisuke to like her more than a friend?
That answer may be coming up soon, have watched up to episode 6 but for now just doing these posts for the first 4 episodes, to be honest the brain gets a bit mushy from doing so many of these recaps in a row. Halfway through the drama really would give it a high recommendation, if you haven't seen it I would, so much better than expected, sometimes I can't wait to view the next episode and of course the main reason is Miori who looks so fantstic in the the series plus she's an A+ actress, check out as usual many screenshots of her from the episode.
