Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

NMB48: Magazine scans #5....
Doesn't seem any J-Pop group has a monopoly on mag spreads these days which has even been true for Nogi. Last NMB mag post was near the beginning of April and since then there's only been four new spreads but at least the pics are all oki doki. Have been including a video for one of the group's singles in these posts, for today we have their 9th single "Takane no Ringo".
Title means unreachable apple and like all but two singles it hit the top spot on the charts. The song came out on March 26, 2014 and it sold over 406,000 copies in it's first week. Sales for NMB have really plummeted the past few years as their latest single "Yokubomono" sold 193,7000 copies in it's first week which is not even half of what they sold four years ago though it did hit #1 on the charts.
No Yuuka for today which is such a shame as her spreads this year have been beyond fabulous. Have four newish sets for today and if course you can't have an NMB post without a set featuring Miru, she's joined in this collection by Azusa in the May edition of Bomb.
More Azusa who on February 4th turned 19. most of the key members these days are twenty or older. This set is from a special Flash issue titled 'Best of Spring 2018'.
Sae is my current fave member so it's such a crime that this set from WPB #23 is only four pics.
Last set for today is the biggest one as Nagisaa graces the cover of the April 5th issue of Tokyo Walker Plus.
