Fumika Baba: (too) Little bit of this and that....

 

 'Too little' is an apt title and what an incredibly slow year it's been for Fumika. She did have a post in July for her 2019 photobook but this is her first regular one since January 2nd!!!! There are a fair amount of pics for today but not really when you consider how long it's been since that last post. She's had a few stretches of inactivity in the past but nothing even close to this year. Fumika is like a few other of my faves who do so many things in a short amount of time and then disappear for a while. For instance she had seven posts from mid October to January 2nd, don't think it'll happen again but then again didn't think all of those posts would have happened either.

 The next time there's a slow period will work on a few 'stat projects' which most of you seem to enjoy. One will be who is the most popular gal here of all time by post view average? Did one along those lines last year but just looked at the past three years or since the end of 2016. Bet that may work out better and will start it soon though will take a while to do. Bring that up for it wouldn't surprise me if Fumika was the most popular woman here with 25 or more solo posts, will use 25 posts as the only criteria. In that other list she was ranked third for the past three years, that ranking was determined by how many views their average posts get. Since then this will be Fumika's ninth(?) post and all have drawn a huge amount of views but don't think this one will. So many views those others got wouldn't be surprised if she becomes the new #1 for popularity and wouldn't mind seeing that.

 Fumika was in many dramas and films from 2017 to 2019 as she tried to become known more for being an actress than a gravure model. She had some success with that but not enough as no matter what she does fans will always clamor for more scantly clad spreads and photobooks. Fumika did 'retire' from doing those kinds of pics for close to a year but made a brief return at the end of last year with such a terrific PB. Now she's back to being more conservative and only have a few 'hottish' pics for today but in all honesty she looks superb however she's dressed. One thing she used to do was to be a model for many sites but these days it appears she's down to one and it's probably of her own choosing. Do have some recent modeling pics from July which were for 'Gelato Pique'.

 Also a few from the Anan site and will end off with an historical spread from them.

 Two weeks ago the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show was held but Fumika wasn't in attendance. Have noticed she doesn't appear at too many of their shows but at almost every one for 'Girls Awards' and they may have their Autumn show coming up or at least hope there is one. So let's go back one year to their September 28th show and pics from it, don't think any from the show were ever posted.

 Did mention that Fumika had been working hard on her acting career the past few years. But for 2020 she's just been in one film and zero dramas so it's not just mag spreads, modeling and events that she's slowed down on. These days about the only mag she appears in is Non-no and she's been an exclusive model for them since April 2015 but it's just been in the last year when she's been getting bigger spreads and more pics at their site. This batch is from the mag's March issue.

 As you can see above Fumika does do the occasional gravure pic hut even her non ones still look mighty fine to me. Have even more fabulous pics from the Non-no site which top most mag pics.

 Have never done any kind of list on what my top mag spreads of the year of as there's way too many to count. But to me in 2017, 2019 and this year the top spread would be from the Anan magazine. That 2019 set featured Fumika which was posted exactly one year ago as this is from their September 18, 2019 edition. This is such a perfect set of pics so thought fans would love to see it again and if you missed it has there ever been a more perfect spread? No recent videos so will end off with one from the NN site which came out in May and also features a pair of other Nao faves.
