Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Haruka Fukuhara: Her extremely belated happy 22nd birthday post....

Thirteen days to be exact is how late I am as August 28th is when she celebrated her 22nd b-day. But on that date did say there would be a post for the occasion on September 5th so am even late for that. Guess I could have skipped this post as there aren't many new things for today but some months ago Haruka joined the ranks of being a 'Nao Elite' and bet there's only about a dozen with that status. She was fourth on the last preliminary list for this year's faves, can't see her moving up any more as the competition is quite tough but to me being fourth is quite a feat.

This has been Haruka's slowest year ever for activities but that could be the case for so many other actresses and we all know what the main reason is. Just one full time drama she's appeared in but has been a guest on a few others, there's also been no films this year. Yet this is Haruka's tenth post of the year as it seems I can always dig up something for a decent post so seeing as how there's been such a slowish stretch since March it means she'll be busier than ever soon or that's me wishing.

Have about 30+ pics for new happenings today plus a few oldies and whatever, she's become such a massive fave of mine I'll work harder to have a post for her than almost anyone else. Just one pic from her birthday plus a few new Instagram pics and Haruka is one doesn't appear to be that much into social media and kind of glad about that.

Few older pics that were from a March 2019 interview that hadn't been posted before. They're from  the 'Cinema.ne' site and were for her film "You are brilliant like a Spica" that came out in April but don't think it's been released on DVD yet along with another 2019 movie.

These are recent pics from the Walker Plus site. Haruka appeared in three of their mags during the Spring time, they're a site which has many movie interviews and such but also publish 'walking magazines' for the various regions of Japan. Haruka was the cover girl for those three issues and these are outtake pics from the photo shoot. Perhaps they're a bit too tame for most but these are some ultra fabulous pics to me.

When my laptop crashed last week lost some key things which were mainly dramas and films. One was the "Kakeguiri" movie from last year, never reviewed it but will work on getting it again. Bring that up because Haruka was in the film and there's going to be a sequel next year which she'll also be appearing in. I just love that drama and wish season two was longer, a must watch if you're a 'Liar Game' fan. No new mag spreads for today but she has had more than usual this year. So let's go back to December of 2019 when Haruka was the cover girl for back to back issues of Weekly Ascii.

That link above is to Haruka's YT channel which she just opened up on her birthday, seems so many actresses lately have been opening up their own channel there. On September 5th she attended the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show which was held at an empty Saitama Super Arena but was streamed live.  It was her first event since February which was also the case for most who took a stroll on the catwalk. Haruka took two strolls which not many did and of course looked so super duper. Following the pics is a short video from the show.
