This stretch of posts for J-Pop Idols shows no signs of slowing down and that's actually not a bad thing. Would prefer to have a bit more variety but how can there be more variety than what Idols do? They appear in so many dramas, are at events, have magazine spreads and photobooks, group TV shows, modeling pics and much more! So compared to actresses and gravure models it's been easier to have posts for my fave groups and Idols the last two months and think most viewers enjoy these types of posts. Though the ones for Keya seem to be geared more towards their bigger fans as there's been such a shortage of mag spreads and events as of late but all of the posts are truly terrific!
For the new single the members have brand new uniforms which look sharp. Here's everyone from the first and second generations, also added in four from the new 3G members.
Here's the final three member's cards and once again one gal doesn't have any yet at the game's site. Leading off is Ten and as mentioned a few times is now no longer Keya's youngest member. Last two are Yui and did talk about her earlier in the post, final gal for the June pics is Marino and have to admit I really like the way she's been looking this year.
Will end off with a quickie recap from the group's variety show and right above is the theme to this episode. Have only been picking certain shows to watch the last two months, been skipping the ones that just feature the new third generation members. This episode was #130 that aired on April 30th, the next two featured the new members so did skip those. If you read the recap for episode #129 you may recall the theme was improving the studio and other parts of the show, some of the suggestions were taken seriously. Such as a new theme song that Akiho had written called "Numa Song", it'll be used on some but not all episodes. Plus two members, Hikaru was one, got different chairs as they're so shorter and their legs couldn't touch the ground. The surprise was that Rena's suggestion was approved or at least for a while. She wanted to have a light on her at all times which did happen but as you can see she looked quite eerie and the light was removed which we may never see again.
So as that above screenshot shows the theme was a skill the members could do better than anyone else. That 'anyone else' was your average person and filling that role for almost all of the challenges was Fuyuka who is a bit shy but good to see a first generation member get more screen time. The challenges were all about food, such as how fast someone could cut up a Zucchini, weigh rice, make Natto and various other things. Fuyuka wasn't all that fast at things but was always accurate and as mentioned was nice to see her in the spotlight for a change. The screenshots go in the exact order of the action so you can just view them to see what took place. In the final two minutes the show bid farewell to Yumiko as she graduated a week after this aired and the segment could have been longer, health reasons are why she departed.
Might I humbly (as well as wholeheartedly) recommend not to skip SokoSaku's eps. 131&132? They've been some of the funniest of the year so far (at least imho) π
ReplyDeleteProbably will end viewing those shows but don't think I'll recap them. All of the new members see nice enough but some are quite young which is why I wouldn't do posts for those episodes.
