Keyakizaka46: Their eighth semi-quasi eerie post for 2023....

 

 Have a feeling this will be a slow weekend for posts as not too much is going on but will try to squeeze another in by the end of the day. Those two above pics are from Rei's first photobook which I don't think sold as much as expected. But I really like that bottom pic and if you didn't know better you'd swear it was Rina U. The title says this is the eighth post of the year but actually when you include the ones done for the 'Uni's on Air' game this is actually the fifteenth post of the year. It's been a much busier stretch as of late for the group and July also appears as though Keya will be busy. So it's been kind of odd how it's been so difficult to do these kinds of posts, have had four solo posts but was hoping that total would have been twice as much.

 Sigh, the members do fraternize with the enemy too often!!!! If you didn't hear the news on July 15th Keya will be performing their first overseas show. They'll be at the Japan Expo in Paris and on that day will hold a half hour concert. Just visited the group site and for now that's it as far as concerts go for Keya in Paris. To me that doesn't make much sense, to travel all that way just to play a thirty minute show? C-ute and Nogi have also appeared at that Expo and both also did a regular concert after so hope that's the plan for Keya as it must be expensive to transport so many members and crew. Haven't heard but wouldn't think the new third generation members will be making the trip and none will be appearing on the next single though they will have two of their own songs. Hope everyone else will be on the trip, management is frowning at the members such as Rei above who are hobnobbing with their dreaded rivals, even Yui has recently gotten in on the fraternizing and will she have to remain in Japan....

 Hoping Rena can make the France trip too but with her current condition it's up in the air as she can't dance as well as she once could.... oh well, some things do happen.... 😲

 This really isn't too large of a post, no recent mag spreads or events though there should be sixty or so new pics for today. No recap for their 'Soko' variety show either, the last show subbed was from almost six weeks ago. Was hoping to start recapping the "Actress" drama that ended over three weeks sometime in July but that may have to wait until August as three episodes still need to be subbed. However these four have been doing many interviews for the drama as of late even though the series has ended. Think it's going to be aired again this Summer plus there's a DVD box set coming out. Here's the latest interview which was with the Oricon site and have the link to it, as you can see there is one Hina gal and the Keya members just can't get away from them!  As many know playing Yui's younger sister on the show was Seira from Nogi. Sure most also know that she's going to graduate soon and that's a shame as I was planning on doing some posts for her which now will never happen. Don't want to discuss anything here and will save most thoughts for those drama recaps or perhaps will have one regular pot for her. But I think Seira had planned out her graduation long ago, before this 'scandal' took place and to me, along with many other fans, think that was a heroic effort on her part and she is going out on a highish note because of that.

 Posted all of the June promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game. But for the second month in a row Fuyuka's pics weren't added until ten days after all of the other member's pics had been added to the site so finally here she is....

 Still going to wait a while before including most things the third generation have done. Most are between the ages of 16 to 18 and would rather not have such young gals in these posts. But they were the cover girls for last week's issue of Anan.

 However may include some pics of Rika Ishimori on occasion. She's the oldest 3G member as she turned 21 in January and here are her group cards to date, no new ones have come out since March.

 Here's a fave of so many viewers who is Keya's first ever captain, Yuuka. Have a slew of her IG pics from the past month or so, check out who she's with in the bottom photo. If she ever has some activities going on will have the info in these group posts, Yuuka does host a radio show and heard she may become a co-host on a TV show about horse racing.

 That above pic was the pair attending a Keya concert in May, am trying to have another post for Risa but hasn't been working out so well. That concert was part of Keya's third tour, there's a DVD coming out soon for their final second tour concert that took place in November. You saw these in the last group post but why not one encore viewing? This batch is from the group site and it's the new uniforms the members will be wearing for their upcoming single. "Start Over" comes out in four days so hopefully can have another group post right after that.

 For a few years there's been a air of web simulated dating games called 'Hina Koi' and 'Nogi Koi'. Finally Keya(Sakura) have gotten in on the action and will soon begin the game 'Saku Koi' next month. When you're a player you'll be known as a Buddy as that's what Keya calls their fans.
