Yui Kobayashi: Another post in the 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒚 𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒍𝒆 series....

 

 Couldn't think of anything catchy for this post as I am a bit brain dead which hasn't happened in a while and luckily this will be a simple post. Don't have too many new things for Yui 😍 today and usually I would have held off on a post such as this one for a few more days or even a week. But can't wait a week as there's just four days to go in September and want to keep her streak alive. Which is of Yui now having a post for nineteen consecutive months, that's the third longest streak ever here and second place is twenty months. Number one(for many things!) is Yui 😍 who holds the record of 22 months in a row with a post so if this pace keeps up January is when she'll set a new record. However every month this year has had just one post, last year three months had two posts and would like to see one of these last three months have at least one with multiple posts.

 But at least these posts have been steady since March 2025, when Yui had such a long absence after leaving Keya in February 2024 I was so worried she may have retired to become a Monk or whatever! But she did make a return in August 2024 though Yui wasn't doing much for a while but those activities did begin to increase the following year. My question is when is she going to release new music, Yui had a mini album in August 2025 and then a single this March. Both were fairly successful and Yui seemed to retain most of her Keya fans but since that single hasn't said a word about any new releases nor has she been playing any shows. Plus Yui hasn't had many modeling photos for the andGirl site the last two months so will hold on to the scant few for her next post. On October 23rd Yui will be celebrating her 27th birthday so perhaps around then is when she'll be announcing some new projects such as another single or what I'm hoping for is acting. She's done a solid job in the four dramas I've seen her in but she hasn't done any acting since the Summer of 2023.

 Yui 😍 still holds a firm grip on the number one position for being my all time woman and she should retain that spot when the countdown for the third 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list begins next April. Was going to have the list this year in August and September so right around now is when she would have been crowned my all time #1 Queen!!!! But thought it'd be better to hold off another half year which will help several women plus the yearly faves list is done in December so didn't want to have those lists too close together. There are a lot of photos for today but not nearly as many as I was hoping for, Yui has been at two recent events but hasn't been doing much else. Do have some older Keya cards and some old modeling photos that are new for here but seeing as how Yui has sadly become so unpopular here even photos posted again were probably missed in their original posts.

 Another sad thing is that we've probably seen the last of Yui doing gravure modeling, she did have two broiling photobooks but that's been it. How I would love to see a digital book(s) and they don't have to contain scantly clad photos. There's been a recent book I haven't posted yet of a gravure model where she didn't dress skimpy in it, that was a nice change of pace and wouldn't mind seeing Yui have one of those books. The only photos Yui has posted at her IG page this month have been from two fashion shows, will have those in the event pics have no other IG photos for today. First up are these Keya cards and I'm thinking many are new as I don't recall some of them. There's 23 in all, a dozen are for Keya's(Sakura) "Shounin Yokkuuu" single which was Yui's final with the group and the other eleven are for "Start Over" that came out in June 2023. Next month the group's sixteenth single since the name change will be released, for the first time in a while they've become such a stable group and hope to have a post in a month for my current fave member.

 That current Keya member is Rena and how I'd love to see her have a second photobook! As you can see below Rena had a mini reunion last weekend with Yui at the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that was held at the Yokohama Arena. As you can see Yui made two appearances, the first was a regular jaunt on the catwalk. The other was for Yui appearing on the TGC Dance Hall stage which had many other performers and think it was the first time such an occasion happened at one of their shows. I've seen Yui do solo dance routines at Keya concerts and she is unbelievable(!), you can get tired just watching her and to me she's the best current Idol dancer there is by a country mile!

 Today Yui appeared at the Autumn 'Girls Award' show that took place at the Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba, since 2017 she's appeared at almost fifty of these huge fashion shows! Yui took her stroll on the Grapefruit Moon stage and these days there's so fewer photos from the shows. Also at these two shows were some members from Hina, Keya and Nogi so hope to have some posts for those members over the next month.

 Don't have any new magazine spreads for today and am beginning to sound like a broken record saying that in Yui's posts. She's made a decent comeback the past fifteen months after that long absence but she needs to take the next step to get more exposure such as to do more modeling and start appearing in magazines, plus as I mentioned above would love to see her have a digital book or two. Let's go back in time for this spread from the August 2021 issue of With, she was a model for then from July 2018 until June 2023.

 Yui had so many fabulous modeling photos with With, they're still all at their site and she must have a thousand of them! Which means there are many that have never been seen before, the batch below are a mix of new pics plus ones that hadn't been posted. All are from September 2019 or exactly seven years ago, every photo is of course terrific with my favorite being the top one. Hmmmm, that last photo is an interesting one and the question is was Yui 😍 daydreaming about ol' Nao..... sigh, think I know the answer to that....

 We've hit the end of this post and wish there had been more new photos. Did say Yui would be hitting the age of 27 on October 23rd so will work my darndest to make that a month with two posts. For the finale have some beyond perfect photos which I will never get tired of gaping at but wish there were more of these Yui gravure photos but am not holding my breath that it'll happen. After the scorching photos is a video from last week's 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show and of when Yui appeared on the first ever Dance Hall stage. She first appears at the 4:25 mark, after that she's in and out of the video but we do see plenty of Yui. I'm not a dance fan but watching her at times is so amazing and the 17 minute video is surprisingly very entertaining.
