Not really going to give a review for this film, was checking and there are so many out there for this and the first movie, really not much more I can add in that's not already out there. Mainly doing these two posts for Miori screenshots, as you may guess took so many of her which I tend to do when I watch anything she's in.
Briefly though this sequel takes place 5 years after the first movie, Takanori's wife Akane gave birth to their daughter Nagi and died shortly after that which of course was the result of Sadako. Takanori is now a single parent but isn't raising his daughter as he's given that responsibility to his sister Fuko. Nagi is sort of a problem 4 year old, not as most 4 year old's act but she may actually be the real child of Sadako though Akane gave birth to her. Nagi has the ability to make people do some evil things to themselves such as jumping in front of trains or stabbing themselves in the eye.
So the basic plot to the film then is that Fuko, who at the end is joined by Takanori, try to solve the mystery of Nagi's evil powers and also hopefully find Sadako to finally end her curse. And that's what they do, overcoming many obstacles that Sadako has thrown before them Fuko and Takanori eventually find where Sadako is hidden. However her spirit is hidden in the dead body of Akane who rises from the dead briefly, just enough to help Fuko and Takanori defeat Sadako and save Nagi. But as in all the Ringu films though Sadako seems to have finally perished has she really? One would doubt it as there's probably going to another movie, perhaps not a sequel to this one but it's a franchise which you would think is going to be revived again at some time.
The links don't always work for some strange reason in blogger but here's a few sites which had some longer and better reviews on the movie, you can just copy and paste them to get to the site, there's really so many reviews as I mentioned out there out there one more wouldn't have mattered, the above is really just gave a quickie synopsis:

Overall it was an okay movie but really not a must see unless of course you're a Miori fan, I watched this about six or so months ago and forgot a lot of what happened in it, really wasn't worth a second watch as it was just okay, really a notch down compared to the other Ringu films. Would give this a rating of a 7+/10, worth a watch but if you're expecting a movie similar to the original ones you'll be a bit disappointed.
Miori was fine in the film, she had the biggest role by far but it wasn't a real demanding role, she's had much better ones. Too many long scenes with her that had no dialogue, they were meant to be creepy scenes but really weren't all too intense, but actually there were a couple of them that worked, think there were just a few too many of those scenes, wish we could have heard more lines from her character. But one thing that of course stood out was how Miori looked which was pretty darn fantastic but looking like that is nothing new for her. Have a huge amount of screenshots from the film of her along with some of the other characters which may help you see more of what happened in the film, have many more screenshots in the next post.
